TORONTO—As Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip waved to the crowd after a 2005 visit, a tall, fit officer stood next to them. He saluted the royal couple, and flew them home to Britain.
Now that same elite Canadian pilot, Colonel Russell Williams, stands charged with the murder of two women, the sexual assault of two others and 82 break-ins, during which he often stole women's panties.

And I don’t think that the Canadian military is “accepting” this officer’s behavior.

And as for our Community Organizer-In-Chief you're absolutely correct.There appears to be no type of perversion or amorality that he doesn't support and wouldn't want to see occur in our Armed Forces.Hussein clearly has utter contempt for every aspect of Judeo-Christian ethics/morality...as do many other Americans and,I assume,a fair number of Canadians as well.
Please be aware that I have no doubt that there are *many* fine,fine men and women serving in your Armed Forces...as is true of ours.

Since the alleged perpetrator of this series of crimes is heterosexual, your “logic” escapes me.
Doesn’t it seems more logical (although also absurd) to suggest that Canada could have avoided this particular embarrassment by having all-gay armed forces?
These crimes are tragic for both the victims and the alleged perpetrator and his family. It’s shocking that someone so capable in so many ways is quite incapable of controlling themselves. Another Ted Bundy?
And unfortunately in the military, psychos are useful during wars - they have no problem being killing machines.
But the U.S. military does a better job of profiling people like that and they keep them out of the staff levels and bottled up at lovely places like jungle warfare schools.
You don't let them end up in charge of secretaries and diplomatic escorts.
This is some crazy story. To me it seems odd that a person would be into sort of pranks, like stealing the underwear, and also into total murder.
This guy is one very sick puppy. Certainly the same mentality as Ted Bundy ... no question.

I don’t consider stealing the underwear of his victims to be a “prank.” Surely professionals would term it either a fetish or a trophy or both.... but NEVER a “prank.”
