“No Liberal I know, and I know many of those things, would want to create a disincentive to the helping of a female, much less to helping a girl.”

Couldn’t agree more - someone needs to write a book about the unintended consequences of liberalism. List the program, the intentions, and the results. That simple.

My point is that if a man were innocent, he would avoid troubling others as a way of making amends, keeping to himself until he rebuilt his life.

If you were falsely accused of a child molestation, would you avoid troubling others or would you try to clear your name?

All sex offenders claim to be falsely accused.

Funny thing, those who are falsely accused also claim to be falsely accused.

If he is innocent and was wrongly accused, for what exactly is he making amends?

Breathing while male. That's always enough for the femenazis to convict.

Yep. It boggles my mind how these so-called civil libertarians will turn a blind eye while some poor sap has his life destroyed at the whim of some crazy bitch seeking vengeance. Same story applies to the families ruined a few years back by some overzealous prosecutor looking to make a name for himself.

I firmly believe we need some sort of a law compensating the accused when there is clear-cut evidence of innocence. It needs to be beyond a “Not Guilty” verdict, and perhaps should be something extra the jury deliberates on. At a minimum the defendant should have all his legal fees and lost wages returned.

I sat on a jury in a sex crime case involving domestic partners. It was stunning to see how far the DA would go to try to railroad someone. All (except the cops) of the prosecution witnesses were so high on the stand that they couldn't form an English thought. The cops invented knives that couldn't be found or weren't in any of the pathetically inadequate crime scene photos. They were snarky with the defense and came off like thugs with badges. No one controlled the crime scene. I could go on and on about prosecution pressure on their witnesses to testify at all. This included the "victim". We were played recordings of the "victim" proclaiming undying love for the accused as he sat in jail. Kafkaesque.

We took about 20 minutes of deliberation (7 women 5 men) to find the guy not guilty. He sat in a jail for a year. I asked the judge why the DA even brought the case. He used the words "it's bullshit" in his reply.

"..So sad, but so true..."

It really is awful. If the child was lying or the EX or whoever there is no recourse. This is like being denounced as a witch in Salem.

Another alternative to hermithood is to keep a firearm in your car (if you have a permit) or in your home. That way you can “check out” of life at a moment’s notice.

“He’s convicted of indecency with a child, but Johnson said what really happened is that his ex girlfriend made the story up after a falling out.”

I know of two men that happened to. Both were made up cases and neither was arrested. One sued his ex-wife and WON.

You suck.

Chemical castration with Depo-Provera is easy to defeat. Exogenous testosterone in the form of Androgel topically or injectable testosterone cypionate can totally counteract the effects. Both require prescriptions but all an offender need do is visit a physician complaining of impotence. The physician checks a serum testosterone, finds it low and prescribes the exogenous testosterone.

Ever seen the TV commercials talking about “Low T?” This is it.

Sex offenders and wife beaters are notorious liars. If a man really wished to make amends, he wouldn’t do this.

I find it hard to believe he can't come up with something to do that doesn't involve children. It feels like a red flag...

‘Tis better a hundred innocents die than one guilty man go free.

What? I just went off topic a bit. I’m not picking different sides.
