Don’t know about this guy but false accusations are a very real possibility.
I work with children as a substitute teacher. If a bunch of people got together and falsely accused me, even if the charges were dropped, my life would be over.
That’s why it is very important to keep a stock of ammo in case one needs to commit suicide.
I've known five people accused of sexual misconduct. I suspect two of them did it. Of the other three, one was a wife having an affair and accused the husband of harassing her. The chief of police for the small town where this occurred was sitting in a restaurant looking at the guy being accused when she called to claim he was trying to break into her house. A second one got involved in a divorce and was told flat out that he could give up the kids or she'd accuse him of molesting them. The third was a guy who took in his niece from a lesbian in-law. After the niece returned to the mother, she apparently became upset because the niece wanted to return to her uncle and didn't want to live with mom and her "second mommy." The woman made one call from out of state and it took two years to get the charges dropped. My friend was fortunate that he worked in a factory. One single phone call like that and I would be out of a job.
