I am not familiar with this case but I AM faqmily with being falsely accused, and if I had NOT been able to prove I was not even home at the time I would have been in jail, on nothing more than her say-so.

I even had the district attorney threaten to add more charges for disordely conduct if I did not plead guilty. I told my idiot lawyer to tell him to go ahead and do it.

When my ex failed to appear in court it was dismissed but I lost my house, my job, custody of my children (temporarily) and when I was lucky enough to find a police officer willing to server her an arrest warrant (for filing false charge) the DA refused to prosecute it because “I was just trying to get back at her”.

I threatened a Writ of Mandamus to get him to do his job. And behind my back without my approval they gave her a 6 month ACD (Adjournment contemplating dismissal if she did not do it again for 6 months)

All in all, I lost over $100,000 over this and she got LESS THAN a slap on the wrist, when I had PROOF I WAS NOT THERE (I was in my attorneys office at the time ON THE PHONE with a different judge)

IT should be a FELONY to file a false charge where someone actually sits in jail or suffers financial loss as a result. And yes, I did have 12 black guys threaten me (the only white guy) in the holding cell. Fortunately I am 6’4 and 225 but imagine what would happen to a guy who was not.

I sympathize with your story. Yet, I find the person in this story a wildly deluded person if he feels that because he can claim he didn’t do it he should be allowed contact with other peoples’ children. If he’s serious he should pursue that got him there in the first place - get his original charge reversed.

Sorry to hear that. Glad you got through it (relatively speaking). We had a teenage girl (with her mother) staying in my house for a while, because of a problem with their house. She was REAL QUIET and it started scaring me. It then occurred to me that she could accuse me of ANYTHING (if she got angry about something), and had NOTHING to lose (whereas my kids would lose their father, if they tried that stunt).

She was out soon after - and I’ve been breathing much easier since.

I think it should be the death penalty for false accusation.

That is terrible, it is sad that there are people in the world who will do stuff like that. It is amazing that is doesn’t happen more often. It is scary especially now with the government being filled with thugs.

Damn. What did the 12 black guys threaten you with?

The laws make it like that. And the laws are intentionally made to destroy the cohesive American family in my opinion, by incentivizing divorce and behavior such as you describe.

I am being so careful in choosing my wife.

Have you considered writing an article, or a book, about the abuses heaped on those whom a vengeful female accuses?

When America removed the presumption of innocence in cases where a female accuses a male of “harassment”, or other sex related “offense”, then the abuses occurred.

Turns out there was a reason American Law was predicated upon presumption of innocence.

Anything else is a short, slippery slope down into tyranny.

I sat on a jury in a sex crime case involving domestic partners. It was stunning to see how far the DA would go to try to railroad someone. All (except the cops) of the prosecution witnesses were so high on the stand that they couldn't form an English thought. The cops invented knives that couldn't be found or weren't in any of the pathetically inadequate crime scene photos. They were snarky with the defense and came off like thugs with badges. No one controlled the crime scene. I could go on and on about prosecution pressure on their witnesses to testify at all. This included the "victim". We were played recordings of the "victim" proclaiming undying love for the accused as he sat in jail. Kafkaesque.

We took about 20 minutes of deliberation (7 women 5 men) to find the guy not guilty. He sat in a jail for a year. I asked the judge why the DA even brought the case. He used the words "it's bullshit" in his reply.
