Another thing is that they both want the destruction of Western Judeo-Christian Civilization by any means.

But here is the thing. The left, even the most hardcore left, still has to operate within the law in most civilized countries. It is no accident that islam has concentrated its recruiting efforts in our prisons. The left has spent centuries trying to operate AROUND the law. islam has its OWN law. And therein lies the ONLY difference.
That is why our Constitution, among other things, is such a problem for the muslim in the White House.

I have no doubt for a minute about anything you’ve said.
I also believe there are many people in power and in the public eye who have been converted but are in the closet.
It makes no sense to me why anyone would convert unless they do have violent or perverse fantasies they wish to fulfill.
Our country is changing so quickly. I am frightened of what it will be in as little as a few years.

Excellent post, well thought out. The points of equivalency you draw between Islam and the Left are absolutely true. They’re just two fronts for the same fundamental degradation.
That said, I read a quote recently that moderate Muslims exist, but moderate Islam does not exist. I believe this - in the same way that all through WWII there were German people who were Germans but not Nazis.
The problem is, unless they fight against the evil mixed into their way of life, how can they be distinguished from that evil? At what point do they become enablers? How can they be distinguished from spies? True, leaving Islam invokes the death penalty, and I’m not trivializing that threat. But surely there is some way to at least resist.
Perhaps Islam is so ferocious that those born into it who reject it only have private ways to resist. But the union of the Left with the radical Islamics has shortened the time for everyone before things burst into flames one way or another. The only thing keeping thaose flames at bay that I can see is the Tea Parties - which is why the Leftist MSM attacks them with unending fury.

The left is fighting G-d and those who either believe in G-d or live by godly principles. islam has created its own. It is an entire erzatz civilization which has spilled out into the world. The two are compatible in more ways than you can imagine and BOTH are incompatible in OUR civilized world. Beware this as the left awakens to that fact, it will not be only the overt criminals who convert because the left hates normalcy as much as islam does.

Interesting. Insofar as religion goes, nothing could be more different than the Progressive political ideal and the Islamic faith. However, “religion” in most cases, is only a surface concept. It’s skin deep.
The ENDS of both Islam and Liberalism are the same — rebellion against the God of Scripture, insurrection against the Father in Heaven, His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit at work in drawing all humans to Him.
Having taught Religion for a dozen years now, I know that what may be fascinating culturally, doctrinally and historically can also be frightening spiritually and condemned Biblically. Islam IS. Liberalism IS. Both seek to dethrone the God of the Bible in the hearts of mankind and set up false gods in His place. Don’t believe them — and don’t goubt that, given the right circumstances and conditions, they will certainly cooperate with one another in order to attempt to destroy their common enemy — the Truth, the followers of Truth, and the God of Truth.
The good news is, they will fail — the bad news is, as with any war there will be casualties.
