Several states with competitive Senate races saw their unemployment numbers drop in April, but that trend was bucked by Nevada, where Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) faces low approval numbers and is a top target for Republicans.

Unemployment in Reid’s state, one of the hardest hit by the housing crisis, jumped from 13.4 percent in March. The state had 40,000 fewer jobs in April 2010 compared to April 2009, according to statistics released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

With the exception of IL which has been blue for a decade, these are all Red states turned blue, or in the case of MO, a remaining red state flirting with liberalism.

This would be great news — if it weren’t a lie.

Nothing I see in my real life travels gives any credence to this.

Harry Reid just said something very interesting, that BP, not the taxpayers, will be responsible for the Gulf cleanup. OK, who pays for the products they produce? Obama? What a maroon.

Most of the states saw a mere .1 percentage of a decrease but there was more movement in a couple competitive contests.

Too funny, .1 percent, they pulled the numbers from AP.

I am just looking for any excuse to S..Can ole Pinky's behind...

Things here in Il. are pitiful. I’ve been looking for almost
a year after my job went to China, and I haven’t been real
fussy.

Only a year? I have been forced to travel for work since 1996. Thanks to the likes of Whitman, Myth, Bill Gates, all the dot commies slobs, Grassley, Reid many in both parties who pass legislation that brings in H1Bs, that will do jobs that “no American will do”, nonsense.

The reason the numbers go down is that so many people are exhausting their 99 weeks of benes. There are no jobs out there of the caliber that have been purged. The Congress wants to pass leg that would push up the expiration of the 99 weeks so more of those kicked out can collect...Ideally for them beyond election day. But this ruse isn’t going to work. There are a ton of very scared people out there, and a lot of them are now seeing through the ruse. It is going to get very ugly. I am with Beck. Prepare.

All those states voted for Hussein in 2008, with the exception of Missouri--where McCain BARELY won!

Nice way to vote, Hussein worshipers.

Besides, I don't buy any of this "recovery" CRAP. Hussein is destroying our economy. He is a A #1 failure.
