Karen Harrington and Robert Lowry are also seeking the Republican nomination. Whoever wins the Aug. 24 GOP primary faces incumbent Wasserman Schultz of Weston in November.

The headline says Milo "takes on" Wasserman Schultz. The only way a Republican can take on a Democrat in an election is if they get the Republican nomination.
I'm not the only person who knows that. Someone looking real quick at the headline is going to assume that Milo is the Republican nominee.
Republicans don't want a Transgender Nominee.

There is something inherently unconservative about changing one’s gender.

Furthermore Milo married her sweetheart (a woman) at age 19 and had two kids. That means that Milowho transitioned from male-to-female via surgery sometime after becoming a spouse and parentconsidered herself a woman when she married her wife; that is, she got gay married, something she's now against. Ironically, if Milo tried to remarry Florida courts wouldn't allow her to marry a man because they only take into account your biological gender at birth. So if Ms. Milo wanted to remarry in Florida, she'd have to marry a womangay marriage, something she's against.

Yes, unconservative, I’d agree.
Also, crazy. Something is wrong with them in the head - by definition. They aren’t happy, in their head, with their sex organs, their gender, whatever you want to call it. So, instead of fixing whatever is wrong in their heads, they carve up their bodies. They’re crazy. We don’t want crazy people as our Nominee.
To: se_ohio_young_conservative
“She” is a crazy man who cut his dick off.
To: truthfreedom
Waserman-Schultz of Weston.... So why does she sound like she is from New Jersy?
To: don-o
A transgender person is by definition crazy. We don’t want a crazy nominee, no matter what conservative points they choose to make.
To: truthfreedom
Honestly Karen Harrington is better looking than Wasserman Schultz. Amongst liberal circles this will be like combing matter and anti-matter. Their heads will explode. ;-)

If he/she/it can change his/her/it sex then can he/she/it be trusted not to change parties?
To: TSgt
Well, this is all certainly interesting.
In truth “she” is a man. And will always be a man. A man who has taken hormones to screw with his body chemistry to develop female characteristics, and underwent surgery to mutilate his genitals. But still a man. It’s impossible with current technology to change a man into a woman or vice versa.
And we should not be forced to pretend that it can happen. Ever. Under any circumstances. Oh, you cut your penis off, now you’re a woman. Scientifically impossible. Blood test, chromosomes, still a man. But the Democrats are pushing a Federal Law forcing everyone to pretend that something which is scientifically impossible has actually occurred.
My Freeper name is Truthfreedom, and you might understand why this transgender thing bothers me. I like truth, I like freedom, and this Federal bill takes away the freedom to tell the truth.

Oh, I don’t like it at all, not one bit.
It forces people to deny truth. That’s pretty serious.
It’s not like the gay thing. The gay thing is a moral thing. This isn’t a moral thing as much as a truth thing.
Listen, Donna, you’re a man. Don’t ask me to refer to you as a woman. You’re a man, you never can be a woman. You have a crazy problem in your head.
To: se_ohio_young_conservative
"decided to become a woman"
nah, just decided to self-mutilate. it's what crazies do.

Apparently so. But what I think they want to push more is the subliminal idea that the Republican Party actually made her their Nominee. Why else would they use such a wrong headline?
I think they like the words “Transgender conservative Republican” together like that.

"I was very impressed with her (Milo)," Manjarres (Javier Manjarres, a Fort Lauderdale-based blogger, Miami-Dade editor of RedCounty.com and founder of the Conservative Republican Alliance) said. "She's the best-rounded candidate in that race by far. Absolutely. She can hold her own with most politicos. It shouldn't make a difference if she's gay, straight or transgender."
Oh but it does make a difference. Seeking out someone to cut off one's genitals is clearly an indication of mental instability. I am sure there were and are any number of people willing to cut off Ed Milo's genitals. Mr. Milo knowingly sought someone to mutilate him.
Ed err... Donna ... err ... whatever Milo is free to call itself anything it wants. After all, Johnny Cash did so in the song, "A Boy Named Sue".
Let the Democrats continue to have divorced, mutilated and confused people as their candidates. The Tea Party should field mentally stable people as their candidates and not those selected by the mainstream media.
It would seem that Javier Manjarres from RedState.com supports Rob Lowry is this article.

How conservative can “it” be on GBLT issues? How about “don't ask, don't tell”? What about so-called discrimination in the workplace? Should an employer be forced to hire a man dressed as a woman?
This person cannot be conservative & also be true to “its” chosen lifestyle.

You’re right. Instead of tracing back and identifying why the person is having these kinds of feelings and actually dealing with it, they get hooked up with some GLTB agenda “counselor” who encourages them to go through the “transformation”. Talk about having an agenda.
