Senior adviser to the president David Axelrod said Monday evening that there is “no evidence” that White House officials tried to keep a Democratic congressman from entering the Pennsylvania Senate race by offering him a high-ranking government job.
“When the allegations were made, they were looked into. And there was no evidence of such a thing,” Axelrod said on CNN’s “John King USA.”
Axelrod acknowledged that if White House officials dangled a job in front of Rep. Joe Sestak’s face to keep him away from challenging incumbent Sen. Arlen Specter, that would “constitute a serious breach of the law.”
Axelrod also acknowledged that there were “conversations” involving White House officials and Sestak, but said that those had been “looked at” by White House lawyers and “their conclusion was that it was perfect — the conversations were perfectly appropriate.”
The president’s adviser would not say who was involved in the conversations, but promised: “I don’t think that any questions will be left unanswered on this.”

Admission by one of the parties involved that a job was offered isn’t “evidence?”
Either Sestak is lying or the Obama administration is.....we’ll see.
So Sestak lied and needs to come clean before the election....hold your breath Admiral you are being called a liar....speak up and file a complaint or you will end up under the proverbial bus.

When you get to decide what is true and what isn’t, there is always “no evidence.”

The “inquiry” consisted of making sure any memoranda of the call were erased, burned and the person who memorialized it was given a photograph of Ft Marcy Park.

Then either the 0bama admin is lying, or Quid Pro Joe Sleestak is lying...
I hope Sestak has tapes! If not, the bus not only road over him but backed over him to be sure.
Who looked into them, specifically? Names? What dates were the investigation begun and concluded? Were there notes or any documentation to the investigation? When will they be made public?
No evidence...that survived.
Axelgrease's job is to keep friction out of the white house. He descended from snake oil salesmen.
