Posted on 05/26/2010 9:32:40 AM PDT by Nachum
Last week, Nina Easton, the Washington editor of Fortune, wrote a column about the SEIU and National Peoples Action. The two progressive groups had sent roughly 500 protesters to Eastons Chevy Chase neighborhood on May 16th to picket the front yard of Bank of Americas Greg Baer. Easton had just put her 2-year-old son down for a nap, and stepped outside to ask the protesters to quiet down. They didnt. Easton wrote a column. And now shes become the target of the SEIU and Media Matters for America.

and she is a lib, can’t stand her on FOX
Nina, you run with dogs, you get fleas
Media Matters did not “get it wrong.”
Media Matters exists and is paid good money by the Nazi sympathizer Soros and other shadowy America-haters to spread the Big Lie. They are very good at it.
I would have went out on my porch with my shotgun and chased them off.
I wonder what skeletons are in his closet?
Ironic that the father and mother of the 14 yr olde are Dems!
Sounds like a future Conservative. Liberals are always so shocked when they get mugged by their own kind.
We need to destroy these people.
Use their own tactics to ruin them.
I am tired of these butthole communists.
Mussolini had his Black Shirts.
Mao had his Red Guards
Obama has his SEIU Purple Shirts.
In each case, a bunch of thugs, intended to intimidate the opposition.
In my lifetime, I've seen how the first three turned out. I don't want to repeat that experience with the fourth.
“I’d like to see them turn up at my house.....I guarantee there will be a few less of them when they leave.”
They would get one warning shot and then all hell would break loose.
What do you call a lib whose child gets mugged raped or robbed (or mob attacked)
I bet Chevy Chase just turned a little bit red.
(but that would require an honest Department of Justice)
I wouldn’t even give them that....the only warning would be when the guy with the bullhorn’s head suddenly turns into red fog.
Yes, she is a Lib; but have to say; I appreciate her presence - as a Lib - on Fox News. Their 'balance' here; could be much more painful; as it is in fact, with some of their Lib contributors.
She’s not that “lib”. I think she’s pretty even-handed, must be because she’s married to a Republican campaign guy. He did the “Wind Surfing” John Kerry spot.
the bankrupt logic and votes of nice intelligent wealthy comfortable white wine libs counted just as much for what we as a nation are now enduring, as the votes of Alan Colmes and Al Sharpton

...the message these protesters brought was personal-aimed at frightening Baer and his family, not influencing a broader public.
Of course, HuffPost readers responding to the coverage assumed that Baer was an evil former Bush official. He’s not. A lifelong Democrat, Baer worked for the Clinton Treasury Department, and his wife, Shirley Sagawa, author of the book The American Way to Change and a former adviser to Hillary Clinton, is a prominent national service advocate.
These dumba$$es were protesting their own.
“A Conservative is a Liberal who’se been mugged”.
Welcome to the Dark Side, Nina....
I doubt the SEIU Klux Klan would try to pull this off in a state that isn’t gun-control
Oh, have no disagreement here per cause for our Country's devaluation. Liberalism could not be a more degraded MO. But that does not change our having to see them; hear them. Fox News, ever mindful of the gathering of totalitarian inclinations (most current effort of Lib establishment per Media - the Fairness Doctrine) feels compelled/obligated - unlike MSM outlets - to offer the Lib contrasting point of view.
Have no problem with this; while I suffer the worst of their contorted logic; those Libs tuning in, must suffer the truth.
But I do not want to suffer 'doubly' on their behalf by those who like Alan Colmes, Bob Beckel; Geraldo and a few more Libs et al at Fox News, share a similar, base-line and indeed, are too often, too painful to watch.
I can appreciate Nina; as I appreciate Greta Van Susteren; as two , while from other camp; are intelligent; polite and willing to engage and listen; adapt and grow by whatever measure.
I despise Liberalism; despise it's 'will to ignorance'; but not altogether a bad thing for Libs, not yet 'hard core'; to hear/and contrast so that they realize there IS a superior rationale at work and available.
