Sarah Ferguson put on a brave face as she ran errands in New York today, ahead of her return to the UK to account to her ex-husband for her latest gaffe.
She is expected to meet with Prince Andrew this week to explain how she was caught up in a sting by an undercover reporter, offering access to the prince for £500,000.
After the news broke at the weekend she took a pre-arranged flight to Los Angeles to collect an award for her charity work.

“The News of the World” should be sold as toilet paper. Anytime they can mock, smear or humiliate a member (or ex member} of the royal family, they consider their job well done. Except for Diana. Who was saint because she used leaks to the tabs to get more money in her divorce settlement.
The Bushes actually are a political “dynasty”, unlike the Kennedys, who were coronated.

Andrew was no doubt in on it, at least at some level. He will cover for his ex-wife because she can blow the whistle on him. And what else is he trained to do other than be a professional event attender?
The US does have its Fergie equivalent...Meghan McCain....another corpulent gal with no discernable talent. Umm...maybe I should not be so harsh on Fergie

How exactly do we know that Andrew didn’t know about this? IMHO she isn’t the first to do this sort of thing and surely won’t be the last. Mostly here in this country they sell dinner for $5K a plate for the same thing except you don’t get much individual attention like $40 K would buy you.

I agree with you that Prince Andrew is probably involved...just the way Fergie says to the phoney Sheik to keep it quiet, “that the Prince would never, never, ever, never do this” on the tape, sounded too much like the gal protests too much. Prince Andrew in his capacity as some kind of honcho over business opportunities in Britain is well situated to have his palm greased. IF (and that’s a big IF) he’s not involved, he is now certainly tarred with the same brush.
