If Sarah Palin is a feminist, then I'm president of the Tea Party (She's got their number!)

I've been a feminist since the first time I told my Daddy, "No!"

Poor lady. I understand that child molestation can be very harmful to one's mental health later in life.

Why are liberal women so lacking in maturity?

“Wow, let me guess, she went to an ivy league school and then attended Columbia for a Master’s in Journalism. She looks a bit touched or heavily medicated.”

Actually, she went to Kent State, and spent two years in law school, (which is probably enough to fry your brains, anyhow/s;)

It’s also paradoxical that the point of women’s rights was to be treated as first class citizens, not as a man’s property. However, once granted, they in turn demanded the “right” to treat their unborn babies as “their property” with no rights, to be disposed of at their whim.

Color me “confused”.

The moslems.

They’re also favorites of the looney left (a redundancy, I know).

She’s an ignorant slut masquerading as an intellectual socialist (yes, a contradiction in terms, but the socialists have such an elevated opinion of themselves).

Did you have to post this at all?

Are you really a vet?
You suffer from PTSD?
Dementia?

What?

Historian Ann Gordon, who edited Anthony's papers, and Lynn Sherr, who wrote a biography of Anthony, offered this reality check in a piece for The Washington Post: "We have read every single word that this very voluble -- and endlessly political -- woman left behind. Our conclusion: Anthony spent no time on the politics of abortion. It was of no interest to her, despite living in a society (and a family) where women aborted unwanted pregnancies."

I thought that it was Susan B. Anthony who made a comment about abortion being a great violence against women, perpetrated by men who didn't want to live up to their responsibility.

Susan B. Anthony may not have spent any time on the POLITICS of abortion, because, at that time, it was not a political issue.

"To me, being a feminist means supporting women in all their choices."

Interesting that this women, and her 'feminist' friends always say this, yet they were the ones who decried Sarah Palin's decision to give birth to a Down's Syndrome baby. And they continually rail against women who 'throw their lives away', by staying home to raise their children, instead of 'fulfilling themselves' by having a 'career'.

Apparently those two chicks who wrote the biography on Susan B. Anthony did ‘selective’ research.

Susan B. Anthony
Women’s Suffrage Pioneer
By Jone Johnson Lewis, About.com Guide

http://womenshistory.about.com/od/anthonysusanb/a/anthony.htm

In her writings, Susan B. Anthony occasionally mentioned abortion. Susan B. Anthony opposed abortion which at the time was an unsafe medical procedure for women, endangering their health and life. She blamed men, laws and the “double standard” for driving women to abortion because they had no other options. (”When a woman destroys the life of her unborn child, it is a sign that, by education or circumstances, she has been greatly wronged.” 1869) She believed, as did many of the feminists of her era, that only the achievement of women’s equality and freedom would end the need for abortion. Anthony used her anti-abortion writings as yet another argument for women’s rights.
