I read a great write up over at cracked.com (yes, the same) about how wild west shootouts were virtually non-existent. They even showed evidence that the most number of homicides in Deadwood was 4 in one year. Just... 4.

Yeah, I agree with that assessment. I believe everyone should be given a stipend upon the birth of a child to purchase that child an “heirloom” weapon that can be handed to them on their 18th or 21st birthday.

I think that’s called the ‘backwards bullet.’ They have a nasty habit of looping back on their owners similar to pitbulls.
I always wish these stories would say what these guys last words were. It just leaves you wondering.
