Sestak-gate: White House Offered Romanoff Job, Too (A Impeachable Firestorm is Brewing)

Quote: On Sept. 27, 2009, the Denver Post reported that the Obama administration offered Senate candidate Romanoff a position if he canceled plans to run for the Democratic nomination against incumbent Sen. Michael Bennet.

The paper said the job offer, which specified particular jobs, reportedly was delivered by Jim Messina, Obama’s deputy chief of staff. One position the Post cited was a job at USAID, the foreign aid agency.

Messina contacted Romanoff soon after news leaked in August 2009 that Romanoff, former Colorado House speaker, would make a primary run against Bennet.

Here comes more leaks. I believe alot more things are going to come out, once people are found out or don't want to be found guilty of doing something and start squeeling.

I hope Obama enjoys his vacation this weekend, because he has a long road ahead trying to explain, or lie, about what happened.

Paging ROD BLAGOJEVICH.............

Where are you, BLAGO?

Your moment has arrived.

What’s happening with the investigation into 0bama/Rahm negotiating the sale of Blago’s SENATE SEAT?

Isn’t this Sestak scandal a great time for Blago to be on TV explaining how “Rahm/0bama called me to discuss selling my Senate seat, and now Rahm/0bama have committed felonies by trying to bribe Sestak, Romanoff, and also Dodd to forfeit their campaigns?”

Blago, we love you. Blago, please get your face back on TV, so the USA is reminded that Sestak is just the latest corruption scandal 0bama is guilty of.

Blago + Sestak + Romanoff + Dodd + ____ + ____ = IMPEACHMENT

No matter how Obama and his henchies bob and weave, Sestak talked in the context that he was offered a job if he would not run against Specter. The henchies wanted Specter to win, and they didn’t want someone running against him. I look at this as a flat out bribe. Another incident is surfacing now. So, we want to know, exactly HOW MANY incidents of this sort has Obama engaged in over the last few years, both in the White House and in the Illinois Senate?

If the Legislature were peopled with honorable representatives and senators, impeachment and conviction would be a done deal. As it is, the honorable are far outnumbered by the dishonorable.

Or if the Democrats decided he wasn’t worth sacrificing their careers for anymore, then we might see some form of punishment.

The WH must kill Blago now.

They discredited Blago using the media, and he absolutely seemed nuts. But NOW, he’s apparently just “the first guy” to get caught up in WH felonies. Now, Blago’s part of a club with Sestak, Romanoff, and Dodd, whom the WH attempted to bribe.

Can the WH discredit Blago AND 3-star Admiral Sestak AND Romanoff AND Dodd? Pretty soon, they’ll need to discredit “everyone who wears beige shoes” and “everyone who likes puppies.”

They can’t have Blago running around, PLUS a 3-star Admiral (Sestak) announcing on TV that 0moslem tried to bribe him.

That’s too many felonies and too much publicity.

To survive, 0moslem’s Chicago Mafia must kill Blago.

Blago, wear your seat belt!

I like your math. My first flash is a thought I've had that Obie will not complete his term in office.

He's about to find out that Chicago style politics doesn't work in Washington. He may have thought Chi-town thuggery would be reeaallly cool on the national level, --"I am the President...I can do whatever the I want, but he's forgotten that most of it is illegal.

During the election, Edwards asked the Obama team if they would let him have Attorney General or even the Vice Presidency if he endorsed Obama. That would be horse trading.

In the Sestak case, there appears to be an attempt to interfere in an election by means of trying to get a Senatorial candidate to drop out so that the favored candidate would get elected. The inducement would be a Presidential appointment. And remember, that the appointment cannot be offered by Emanuel unless the President agrees to it. Emanuel can't make the appointment, only Obama can. And THAT is a bribe.

And wasn't there also something happening in New York regarding the Gillibrand election? I seem to recall that someone in the Obama administration talked someone out of challenging her. It just seems that there is a pattern of behavior of Obama being involved in these things.

Pulled from Congress.org. Obama Threatens 14 US Governors With Immediate Arrest

This was posted on Congress.org then pulled off. BUT I GOT IT.

Obama Threatens 14 US Governors With Immediate Arrest for the crime of treason.

From congress.org
http://www.congress.org/congressorg/bio/userletter/?id=48778&letter_id=5264198406&content_dir=congressorg

From (thejaghunter)

“Obama, in fearing a revolution against him by the States, this report continues, has moved swiftly against them, including nationalizing nearly all National Guard Forces in Governor Pawlenty’s Minnesota in what is being described as their State’s largest call up of troops since World War II. Other reports coming from the United States are stating that Obama has also nationalized the National Guard forces in Georgia, Alabama, Kansas, and perhaps Texas too.

“Though Obama may have taken from these dissident States their National Guard forces, the Governors of the States of Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia still have under their sole command their State Defense Forces to go against US Federal forces.”

D.C. job alleged as attempt to deter Romanoff (0bama Regime offers job to drop out of Sen. race in CO)

White House Accused of Federal Crime in Specter, Bennet Races

For the second time in five months, the Obama White House is being accused -- by Democrats -- of offering high ranking government jobs in return for political favors. What no one is reporting is that this is a violation of federal law that can lead to prison time, a fine or both, according to Title 18, Chapter 11, Section 211 of the United States Code.

The jobs in question? Secretary of the Navy and a position within the U.S. Agency for International Development.

The favor requested in return? Withdrawal from Senate challenges to two sitting United States Senators, both Democrats supported by President Obama. The Senators are Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania and Michael Bennet in Colorado.

Great observation! In a Democrat controlled State where Democrats appoint judges, or if it is a Republican appointed judge who will face stiff election opposition if he is too conservative, it is not too difficult to see where a jackass of a judge would find that it is in the public interest to release divorce records.

Part of Ryan's statement:

Ryan Statement:

" Thirteen months ago, I announced my determination to seek the Republican nomination for the United States Senate. I entered this race because I love my country and my home state of Illinois - and because I believe that one man, living for purposes larger than himself, can make a difference.

The media has gotten out of control. The fact that the Chicago Tribune sues for access to sealed custody documents and then takes unto itself the right to publish details of a custody dispute - over the objections of two parents who agree that the re-airing of their arguments will hurt their ability to co-parent their child and will hurt their child - is truly outrageous."

And to cap it off, here's THIS:

House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert Statement:

"Jack Ryan made the right decision. I know it must have been a difficult one.

The Illinois Republican Party is fortunate to have a number of talented and qualified candidates who would represent our state well in Washington, D.C. I am confident the party will select a candidate who will unite Republicans throughout this state and quickly launch a winning campaign based on substantive issues that are of importance to Illinois voters."

What I have to say to Hastert at this point is genuinely unprintable, unless of course I want the mods to take me out back to the woodshed. And I can guarantee they wouldn't be using the Free Republic paddle.

I don’t think any of this is going to stick. Watergate unravelled because some low level flunkies got big prison sentences, and Lewinsky’s blue dress came out when she was threatened with jail time. I doubt any of these guys seriously think there’s a real threat of jail time, so they’re gonna stonewall it.

It is not agains't the law. It is the law.

"State Defense Forces (SDF) (also known as State Guards, State Military Reserves, or State Militias) in the United States are military units that operate under the sole authority of a state government; they are not regulated by the National Guard Bureau nor are they part of the Army National Guard of the United States.

State Defense Forces are authorized by state and federal law and are under the command of the governor of each state. State Defense Forces are distinct from their state's National Guard in that they cannot become federal entities.

more:

The President of the United States is also its most powerful military leader known by the term of Commander in Chief, and is authorized by the Militia Act of 1903 to federalize his individual States National Guard Forces putting them under his command, something he does not have the power to do with State Defense Forces.

We're talking about the National Guard not the state guard.

“Obama, in fearing a revolution against him by the States, this report continues, has moved swiftly against them, including nationalizing nearly all National Guard Forces in Governor Pawlenty’s Minnesota in what is being described as their State’s largest call up of troops since World War II.

You might want to look at some law a little more recent than 1903 too.

# The National Defense Authorization Act 2008 Pub.L. 110-181

Repeals provisions in section 1076 in Pub.L. 109-364 but still enables the President to call up the National Guard of the United States for active federal military service during Congressionally sanctioned national emergency or war. Places the National Guard Bureau directly under the Department of Defense as a joint activity. Promoted the Chief of the National Guard Bureau from a three-star to a four-star general.
