Brief synopsis of the facts:

Mary Kennedy is Bobby Kennedy, Jr.'s wife.

She was busted for DWI on May 15 after she drove her car over a curb outside a school where she was going to attend a carnival. Her blood alcohol level tested 0.11 percent, well over the legal limit.

This comes after several other recent incidents where police were called to the family home to quell domestic disturbances -- in which Mary was also observed to be obviously drunk.

Man-oh-man. It’s not just inherited it’s actually contagious.

You'd have to be a drunk to marry a Kennedy male.

If she is married into that family no wonder she drinks. She needs to escape them & sober up asap!

Her blood alcohol level tested

I thought with the Kennedy clan the police had found it easier to test how much blood was in the booze and drugs.

maybe she drank to escape hearing that raspy voice of his, very painful to hear him speak let alone to hear the bs that comes out of his trap.

“No, they’re afraid to get into the car.....”

I think you win Witty Post of the Day!

So this happened near a school? But I thought good Dems did everything “for the children.” Don’t allow them exposure to the American flag or a Bible, but never mind if a drunk driver jumps a fence and kills them (potentially). Many of the Kennedys are trailer trash with gazillions of dollars.

You are so correct. She needs to sober up and high tail it out of there! Ted Kennedy must have driven his first wife Joan to drink as well.

I’m surprised the Obama Administration hasn’t
‘saved or created’ a few thousand jobs for designated drivers for the extended Kennedy clan, on a rotating basis, but providing at least a once-a-week “on call” employment, and of course, a full benefit package.

I think she remarried.....I think it was Foster Brooks.
Just as drunk, but with no pretensions as to social significance.

She attended a speech given by her son Teddy Kennedy, Jr at Salem State College in MA, recently

>>Mother Joan interrupted at one point to note that she was descended from one of the victims of the Salem witch hysteria of 1692, Mary Eastey, who she said was hanged.

Ted and Joan, before...--pic

From Boston magazine:
It was the blood that caught the attention of a passerby, a streak running down one side of the woman's face in a long red tear as she tried to hoist herself off the Beacon Street sidewalk. She looked like a disoriented street person who had wandered into the Back Bay from the nearby Boston Common. "She said she was okay, but she did not look okay," says Constance Bacon, who shielded the helpless woman from the rain as they waited for an ambulance. "She was conscious. She had just hit her head pretty hard. She knew that she had fallen and she tried to get up and she couldn't. So I just waited until the ambulance came. I had no idea who it was, that it was anything special."

It took little more than a day for Bacon—and the rest of the world—to find out that the woman she had helped had a last name recognized across the globe, that this bloody and disheveled person was the former model once nicknamed "the Dish" by her brother-in-law, the late President John F. Kennedy. As with other members of the Kennedy clan, notoriety was nothing new to her. Her fall, which resulted in a concussion and a broken shoulder, was the latest incident in a long and very public struggle Joan Bennett Kennedy has waged against alcoholism.

Kennedys and alcohol go together like Kennedys and treason.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.
