The fact that Obambie stays in the 40s is proof that America is sinking fast from a ballooning black and illegal immigrant population, and the newly so called “educated” red diaper doper babies.
Despite the great effort of the Tea Party crowd, it will take an act of God to save the once great USA, now the USSA.
You are right. Sooner or later Obama will be gone, but the 44% who approve of him will still be here screwing up the country.
We are witnessing a production that had been plotted out by others and then the parts were cast. The producers were hoping for a big and profitable run. But now that they have a flop on their hands, they will have to figure out how to get the puppet to exit stage left.

I wasn't alive during the Carter "experiment," and I've read a lot that makes me constantly wonder at what point Obambi would be on par or under with Carter?

Surveys of political philosophy show that a very small percentage of the population is radical leftist, in the single digits. That’s the problem. These people must be driven from every perch of power they occupy, vilified and destroyed. The presence of the leftist media, entertainment, etc. fool a lot of people into believing in Obama — hell, they won him the election. The bursting of the Obama delusion bubble for the Dems is proceeding, however, slowly. I don’t think there are 25 percent who are permanently in-the-tank for Communism and vitriolic anti-Americans.
Finally, we should not give up on minorities. Blacks have sold themselves into slavery with the left wing crowd and we must fight the leftists for their souls. Otherwise, black leftists will remain a cancer on our nation and a criminal gang of pied pipers leading their own people into destruction. Each minority group is not a monolith and we must wage our battle with each group for American exceptionalism, the rule of law, free markets and the Constitution.

I remain perplexed on a regulare basis with black acqaintances who work hard, pay taxes, attend church, and appear to be quite conservative in their worldview - and yet will keep on defending this creep.

Jim... the 25% that “Strongly Approve” are uneducated people who just approve of the color of his skin. And, you’re right, ‘nothing we can do about them because they will never change their opinion.
It isn’t that Carter is being elevated, it’s just that Obama has sunk far below Carter’s level.
In comparison it does appear “like” elevation.
