Flag Burned Outside Veteran's Home Days Before Memorial (MN)

Only ashes remain after someone burned an American flag hanging outside the Minneapolis home of a veteran, just days before Memorial Day.
Elizabeth Hawley walked out her front door on the 600 block of 5th Street Southeast, and found the remains of the America Flag that was flying from her home.
"It looked like mud on the sides of the steps, and I went out to see what it was, and realized when I looked up that it was what was left of the flag," she said.
Her husband is a veteran.
"I hope it was a prank. I hope it wasn't any kind of signal," said Hawley.
Her neighbor, Martin Rockwell, served in World War II.
"Somebody just hasn't got good judgement," he said.
He said with the University of Minnesota campus so close, he suspects it was a student.

Since this was, at minimum, criminal mischief during the night, in Texas they could have shot the miscreants. Don’t know about Minnesota law.

I am thinking "Grand Torino" here.
They could have burnt his house down. The little sh*ts. If I had seen them, there would have been an altercation.
This picture below was one of the most despicable pictures I have posted on FR, and shows the glory of liberalism in one fell swoop: Disdain for America, disrespect for the flag, disregard for any bystander who may have walked by and seen it, mistreatment and brainwashing of little kids (see the young kid in the image) and perversion
There was a Freeper (a Vietnam Vet) who saw the image and said: "If I had been there, I would have used his bare ass to put that fire out."

But, it is MN and if the homeowner would have capped the little bastard, he’d need a VERY good lawyer....
