from complications of prostate cancer
I don't know the particulars of his case [obviously], but, at least in theory, and, on average, this should NOT have happened.
Unless something really weird went wrong, men should NOT be dying from prostate cancer at that age [or, quite frankly, at any other age].
To: Steelfish
He had his fun...now it’s time to go. Sounds funny but he was old school Hollywood in a lot of ways. At least he wasn’t an idiot lib.

I was expecting this sad headline. There was a recent photo of Hopper receiving a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame last March and it was clear he didn't have much time left.
RIP Dennis.

Oh man, totally love that performance! Especially when he’s dying on the floor asking for a cool drink of water, brilliant actor! He will be missed.
To: Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo
Ummm, I normally would agree, but prostate cancer like any cancer will do what it wants.
Daughter just had her thyroid removed, doctors said well if she has cancer that is the cancer to have... no one dies of it. Just had a cousin die of thyroid cancer this month.
Brother has stage 4 prostate cancer. Another brother’s was caught early. However, his PSA was still in the “normal range” according to his doctor. He quickly went to the other brother’s doctor. After biopsies and surgery, half of his prostate was full of cancer yet the PSA was still in the normal range. He knew though it had risen since the previous year.
