Thanks for the memories! I, like you, am an original. You recap things very well but I would add the attempt by Clinton to shut down Free Republic with the lawsuits they filled claiming copyright infringement as opposed to fair use. The 9th circus ruled in favor of the Clintons, really the NYTimes, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, et al., and it cost Free Republic, really Jim Robinson, $1,000,000 in fines.

As you say, we didn’t come this far just to quit. The enemy is about to push the ball over the goal line and we must stop them. America is behind us. All we need is visible action. Call, write, march, what ever is necessary to get the job done. Else:

Communism has a history of murdering approximately 150,000,000 people who opposed them or even might oppose them. Yes, that is one hundred fifty million people, some just for the fun of it.

Want to be one? If not, make your voice known. If so, think of the loved ones you are taking with you.

"...Paging the class of ‘98..."

Whadya want? Everything B-b said is true, and there's even more!

The answer begins with taking out some trash in November, and finishing-up in 2012.

Sestak, not Stupak (sorry).

I kind of like Joe Suspect.

The real question is whether Barry did the right thing by appointing her Secretary of State. After all it was the very wise Micheal Corleone who said “Hold your friends close and your enemies closer.”

By that way of thinking Barry should have named Hillary his Vice-President, but he would have had to employ food tasters, and surely couple of food tasters would have lost their lives by now.

Mary Mahoney should not be forgotten. For the most it was only Free Republic that told her story.

And, as I recall, she was not one of Bill's conquests. More likely Hillary's...

I have a memory which is rather strange. I checked out your profile but I remember that we may have had exchange over a decade ago and your real name involved Dan, although your present profile doesn’t not mention Dan.

So, in your opinion, what are the chances of Hillary taking out obuma?

How might it get done?

Is the Sestak revelation part of a plan to oust obuma?

I think both Hillary and Bill are capable of just about anything...

“If you do not know how Bill Clinton’s personal secretary, Betty Curry’s brother died, then you ought to find out. “

He was severely beaten just before her testimony in Chinagate. On a separate occasion, he was killed by a hit and run driver just before her testimony in the Lewinksi case.

The Starr report mentions a 2am phone call from President Clinton to Monica Lewinksi. In the call, Clinton tells Monica 2 pieces of news: Curry’s brother had just been killed and ...Monica was now a witness against Clinton.

Chilling stuff.

Your memory is spot on, she was protective of the female species and the Crooked One hated women, which stemmed from the fact that his mother was a whore.

It is hard to explain what a revelation this forum was in the late nineties. There were a lot of flame wars but the intellect and depth of the posts were quite incredible.

Do you remember the early days as John Robinson wrestled with getting this thing together? We had "Please close you tags" posts as well as no spell check, no search engine, no real organization.

John Robinson deserves a great hoorah for a job well done and Jim Robinson deserves a Medal of Honor for the courage to keep it going under real economic duress.

I am proud to be an early Freeper and a monthly contributor.

Paging the class of ‘98.

Here here. Though my registration shows Feb 1999, I started lurking in 1998. I attended the Impeach Clinton rally in Oct 98. Actually, I go back to the CS (Clinton Scandals) list service later renamed CAS (Clinton Admin Scandals). Names like the hero Hugh Sprunt, David Sussman, Huey and Huey2, Mike Rivero (verboten anymore on FR), Ray Heizer and many others.

I am not sure what their chances are. But the fact that Barry’s boys Rahm and Axelrod had little choice but to ADMIT they made a bribe through Bill Clinton does not bode well for the Annointed One. The fact that Bill Clinton stepped up to take the blame seems like a trap to me. Barry is an idiot. A bigger idiot that Jimmah Carter which is saying something.

I read your profile. I am always struck how the passion of politics and religion are married. I am not sure which is greater my passion for politics or religion.

Present. I remember when the Whitewater newsgroup included Matt Drudge, the Hollywood Reporter when he worked at the CBS giftshop and lived in a $600 a month apartment on Hollywood and Vine. I remember when he sent me a note asking me how I found out things from the Whitewater special prosecutor Fiske and later Starr. I told him that I simply picked up the phone and called the number. I guess he was a quick learner and the rest is history. Anyway, I’m here but getting older.
