I guess you have not picked up a Sunset magazine in awhile.
Ads and articles feature same sex couples as mainstream.
I was thinking the other day that almost every modern tvshow/movie ect has one Gay couple or non hetro-sexual charactor but not so much for groups of friends with multi ethnicities unless it is the IFC or Sundance channels.

It’s really a sad, sad commercial. The father is having his son’s affection alienated by some older male and made to look stupid and clueless about what’s going on in his son’s life and that is supposed to make McDonald’s look good?
