Is Rush’s “Big Project” he’s working on for July, his wedding?
I sense angst on the left.
For decades, the left has rigged elections, perjured, slandered its opposition, committed blatant campaign fund violations, and used ineligible voters to get and maintain power.
The left has hated the Constitution, Capitalism, and one of the chief commodities which drive Capitalism - OIL. Yet here is the left, victorious, on the cusp of destroying the Constitution, weakening our Military, and impoverishing the Middle Class. They should be dancing in the streets.
Something is troubling the left. Oil. Black gold. Texas tea.
Somewhere along the way, the left assimilated additional nutty beliefs. And we know the mantra against nuclear power, natural gas, gasoline, and BIG OIL. The left has fought mighty court battles to restrict energy anywhere possible, and it has taken a commodity which should be cheap and abundant and make it painfully expensive. On shore drilling, off shore drilling, no matter, it was stopped or litigated for years. One of the results was that off shore drilling got pushed out further and further. Finally, an accident deep in the water has cause far more pollution than any accident so far. And the left owns the accident 100%. You see, when Obama took responsibility for the spill, he spoke for all leftists and Democrats. They fought for this, now they own it.
The economic and ecological damage may still spread across the ocean, and the world's financial centers, and some of what we take for granted in the ocean may not be healed in our lifetimes. And that is what is weighing heavily on the left. At some point, this spill may be so damaging that the voters could finally wake up, and throw Obama and every damned leftist out of office and with luck, the Democrats will not again in our lifetimes gain so much power to do so much damage.
