Bears repeating.

It’s not militaristic American presidents who start wars. It’s idiots who don’t know what the hell they’re doing.

It’s too boring for Marines to be in Okinawa, what will they tell their grand kids what they did in the Iraq/Afghan wars?

Historically moving U.S. marines when they don't want to go has never proved to be easy. Semper Fi!

Wow, upper deck of Democratic Party of Japna is being cleaned.

RPT-Japan PM Hatoyama says to resign, Ozawa to quit

JAPAN-POLITICS/HATOYAMA-OZAWA (URGENT, REPEAT)

RPT-Japan PM Hatoyama says to resign, Ozawa to quit Currencies | Bonds | Global Markets

TOKYO June 2 (Reuters) - Unpopular Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama said on Wednesday he would resign, as the ruling party struggles to revive its chances in an upper house election expected in July.

He said ruling party kingpin Ichiro Ozawa would also resign from the party's No.2 post.

Pressure has mounted in Hatoyama's Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) for the premier to step down after just eight months in the job to revive the party's chances in an upper house election expected on July 11 that it must win to smooth policymaking. (Reporting by Yoko Nishikawa and Kiyoshi Takenaka)

I wonder what caused Japan to rethink kicking us out of Okinawa?

Ozawa leaving too is like the days when former LDP "kingpin" Shin Kanemaru was arrested with gold bars in his house safe.

Right. Ozawa and Kanemaru are the real bosses. So who is going to fill Ozawa’s shoe? Or would DPJ become a hollow shell soon to break up?

Its no different than here. Campaign promises are mostly lies,...then the winner gets into office, and says...”whoa”, and realize they don’t know what they hell they are doing.

Hopefully they will have competent people around them to shine the turd as fast as they can. In the case of the U.S.,..it not only smells,..but the shine is a facade from morning dew.

The real benefit about this was watching Fukushima (Chair-Bitch of the SDP) get fired on national TV, and Tsujimoto (another Bolshevik-ette), packing up her belongings and out on her ass as Minister of Land, Communications and Transportation.

To have these people in charge of major ministries was akin to Roh Mu Hyon and his legions of childish, inexperienced leftists at the wheels of power in Seoul. GOOD RIDDANCE.

Probably Kan will take over as PM for a few months, then it will go to Okada, then maybe Maehara. We might even see four Prime Ministers in one year if they really want to screw things up.

Funny thing is, nobody can stand the corrupt LDP, and on the other hand, they cannot stand the Obama-ist DPJ with all their phony "Hope" and "Change".

I like the Okinawa base, but can we please remove half of the 29,000 U.S. troops guarding LG, Hyundai and Samsung, and bring them home to guard our OWN border?

Stupid Nips

pull all the military out of Japan if they like

and let the Chicoms and North Koreans get even with the Japs for WW 2 and the Rape of Nanking and turning Korea into a brothel for the Imperial Japanese Army/Navy etc.

America is Japans sole saving grace and they slap us in the face at every juncture.
