HP's Fiorina calls for governments to change policies (Globalist, anti-US Sovereignty scum)
The Register ^ | June 12, 2000 | Mike Magee

Posted on 06/01/2010 7:52:20 PM PDT by pissant

Carly Fiorina, CEO of Hewlett Packard, today described changes caused by the Internet as creating a new renaissance, but said that world governments needed to change their policies to create "boundary-less and "border-less" states.

Fiorina said, quoting Charles Darwin, that survivors in this new renaissance would not necessarily be either the strongest or the most intelligent, but those who could adapt the quickest. Click here to find out more!

"I do believe that governments have recognised the benefits of IT," she said. "but they do not yet truly understand about the need to re-invent their own institutions. It is not because governments are obstinate, but because government power is rooted in things that IT now makes increasingly irrelevant."

She said that boundaries of time, space and geography are less and less relevant to both government and to industry. "Governments must now think about policies being compatible across the world," she said. "This is a problem that government has only just begun to recognise. There should be a recognition that public policy is more boundary-less and that industry and government must collaborate together in new and inventive ways.

I have no great love for her, eventhough we graduated from the same high school, but I think you are taking what she is saying out of context. It appears she is talking about the business world.

I don’t see any NWO or open borders message in what she is saying.

Well, it’s a pretty dumb thing to say if she wants the conservative vote. But if you read the brief article, she seems to be talking about a borderless INTERNET, not about immigration.

Politicians with her mindset are primary examples of what is wrong with our government. Due to the fact that our politicians tend to pander to any popular belief of the moment, of course to garner as many votes as possible, our government is now unquestionably the enemy of freedom and the enemy of freedom loving Americans.

It WILL take an armed revolt to turn this around, IMO.

Regardless of her meaning on this particular issue, her pandering over global warming and cap and trade makes her yet another politician who undoubtedly will vote to wreck our economy if she ends up in D.C., IMO.

I want a CLEAR statement from the Fiorina campaign, and Carly herself, where she stands on deportation of illegals, enforcement of existing statute, building a SOLID wall etc.

A statement that she does not support amnesty is NOT SUFFICIENT!

Yes, and most of them have been initiated by the same person. It is getting a little boring, much like the scripts of Duncan Hunter, Sr. every time he is interviewed by a 500 watt dawn to dusk AM radio station.

Exactly. Who cares what she says now. It would be just what we want to hear and nothing more.
