GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- Ex-President George W. Bush says if he had it to do over, he'd still waterboard Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the man accused of masterminding the 9/11 attacks.
Bush made the comment Wednesday night in Grand Rapids. During a question-and-answer session at the Economic Club of Grand Rapids, Bush acknowledged use of the interrogation technique against Mohammed. Bush says he'd "do it again to save lives."

Terrorists should know, YOU WILL BE WATERBOARDED!
The Wisdom of Solomon is on his side....
“Bush would waterboard terrorist again”
Really? Then what are you waiting for, waterboard him again.
I’d be fine with that, as long as they killed him afterwards.
I’d still take one for W (and waterboard every d*** freakin terrorist).
Obama would have a beer with them.
The liberal idea of waterboarding is reading them their rights.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t waterboarding just strapping someone to a table with a bag on their head and pouring water on their face?
I guess we’re back to the time-tested method of talking nice to these types. Can’t wait to see the results that will yield.
Just in time for summer!
Of course this is what W would do because he puts the saving on American lives FIRST above all else including his ideology.
On the other hand Zero would NOT extract the info desperately needed and watch an entire city be destroyed for the sake of his Ideology.
Most likely he’d simply stand by and watch as Millions were butchered and then issue some scathing political condemnation about the GOP and how their evil ways brought this on our country.
Waterboarding is a little more extreme than I first thought.
It is not uncommon for the lungs to fill up with water almost causing death. So they started using a saline solution to prevent sudden death.
Water is not trickled over the bag over their face. They have several gallons poured over them within 10-15 seconds.
Then vomiting is induced in a controlled fashion so that the vomit will not go into the lungs and kill the person.
I’m not saying that KSM should not have been waterboarded. I am simply saying it is more involved than what I have heard.
He did do some things very wrong (TARP) but did a whole lot of things very right.
I miss having an adult in the White House. I miss having an American in the white house. In President Bush we had both
Any torture of a terrorist is acceptable. If the choice is torturing 100,000 terrorists to death to gain the info to save one American then start the torturing!
Your chances of survival are better than having your head lopped off with a dull knife on video.
Good for W. With all his faults, he was still a great president in some respects.
And just where did you get this new and improved version of waterboarding.
You do know that our own troops are subjected to waterboarding.
Right. I think the idea is to induce sheer terror in the terrorist. If he is convinced death is imminent he is more likely to spill the beans. In reality his life is not threatened at all.
Makes sense to me which is probably why the Obummer regime is against it.

There was an actress (Katee Sackhoff) that was actually waterboarded during the shooting of a ‘24’ episode. This is not to say that they were as rough on her as they would be on KSM ... but, if she can endure it for a couple of days for a paycheck — is it really so hard on a terrorist that it should be outlawed?
My understanding is that it is horrifying, but leaves no permanent damage — exactly what an ‘enhanced interrogation’ technique should be.

I wonder if the waterboarding technique could help clear up a little issue of someone’s missing birth certificate?
