Islam indoctrination in U.S. textbooks
Renew America ^ | June 3, 2010 | Jen Shroder

Today's textbooks indoctrinate our children into Islam and are backed by court rulings allowing teachers to REQUIRE our children to bow down and pray to Allah "in demonstration." As Obama's non-jihadists plot to "internally cleanse" America shouting "Allah-Akbar," many of our children have simultaneously taken the position on their hands and knees and recited, "In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of Creation, The Compassionate, the Merciful, King of Judgment day! You alone we worship, and to You alone we pray for help, Guide us to the straight path."

Public outrage has caused some school districts to take pause in "simulating Islam," but not before Judge Phyllis Hamilton ruled in favor of the practice. Court transcripts quote: "the use of the Islam module was motivated by the purely secular purpose of instructing students about Islamic culture and history" and that a "non-secular purpose may only be found 'when...there was no question that the...activity was motivated WHOLLY be religious considerations." [omissions in transcript]

It is shocking that Hamilton could compose the following condemning the Ten Commandments while endorsing banners in front of a school that state, " "There is one God, Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet." This is her ruling, upheld by the Ninth Circuit:

"Similarly, plaintiffs claimed in oral argument that the display of the group banners showing portions of the Bismillah was analogous to the display of the Ten Commandments in school classrooms, which has been found unconstitutional. However, the display of the Ten Commandments in a classroom setting was found unconstitutional because the Supreme Court determined that upon objective review, the primary purpose for their display was to endorse Christianity. Here, in contrast, the primary purpose of the Islam module was the secular goal of educating students about Islamic culture. Thus, even the display of religious texts in a purely secular context will survive Constitutional review as well." (pdf link below)

Clinton's Presidential Guideline, "Religious Expression in Public School," states: "Students generally do not have a Federal right to be excused from lessons that may be inconsistent with their religious beliefs or practices." Originally drafted with Abdurahman Alamoudi (currently in prison for terrorist acts) and in the hands of the ACLU and Judge Hamilton (appointed by Clinton), there went religious freedom.

Thus, public school teachers can REQUIRE your child to take a Muslim name, fast for Ramadan, repeat by heart for weeks that Allah is the only god, that he alone they worship and display banners with the same sentiments. One teacher required her students to recite the prayer every time they exited the classroom for two weeks. What does it take to become a Muslim? Reciting that prayer. Oh but wait, they have to believe it...never mind then. That makes it okay that the last words that some of our troops heard before beheading are the same words our children pray on their hands and knees in public school.

ISLAM INDUCTION IN OUR TEXTBOOKS

Houghton Mifflin's "Across the Centuries" underwent multiple revisions led by Nader F. Darehshori, CEO, previously a school teacher in Iran. In the Islam section among other practices, our children are asked to assume they are Muslim soldiers. In the Jewish section, the ONLY imagination practice is to imagine they are with the Jews when they were conquered and forced to live away from their homeland. In the Christian section, the ONLY imagination practice was to imagine being in the buried catacombs of the dead Christians. (Christians/body of Christ back in the tomb, how symbolic).

For a while, Houghton Mifflin posted denials that the Council of Islamic Education contributed to the textbook. But then articles quoting Abigail Jungreis, Editorial Director of HM were found on Muslim sites applauding their input, especially information about the Crusades...so for the Christian section our children are given the Crusades from the Muslim perspective. Meanwhile the Islam section states:

  1. "In fact, the very first word the angel Gabriel spoke to Muhammad was recite." (in fact?)
  2. "These revelations confirmed both Muhammad's belief in one God, and his role as the last messenger in a long line of prophets sent by God."
  3. "Muhammad's revelations occurred from 610 until his death..."
  4. "The Quran is the final revelation, just as Muhammad is the final prophet."
  5. "Ramadan is a holy time, because in this month Muhammad received his first message from Allah."
  6. "Arabic lettering had a special significance for Muslims, because it was used to write down God's words as they had been given to Muhammad."
  7. "The courtyard and Mosque allowed Muslims to feel Allah's invisible presence whether they were inside or outside the Mosque."
  8. "This caliph, Muslims realized, could not give the same kind of spiritual leadership as Muhammad had. The new caliph would not be the prophet of Allah, as Muhammad had been."
HM denied implying acceptance of Muhammad's mission as the prophet when a section was headed with "THE LIFE OF THE PROPHET" and listed him as prophet 42 times!   To the average Christian, facts about Jesus in the Christian section seem merely watered down. But if you study Islam you would realize that what is written about Jesus is what Islam believes about Jesus.

These are some of the reasons that Texas has taken a stand about curriculum. Texas is the 2nd largest block in the market and textbook publishers listen. But California is number one and is currently passing laws blocking Texas changes. I urge everyone to contact your state legislators and ask them to do to California what California has done to Texas. Let the textbook publishers know your state condemns the insanity that California has imposed. Do not let California remain on the throne of public education. I live in California. For the love of God, protect your children.

That’s the Anti-Christian Litigants’ Union. Oddly, it seems not to trouble the ACLU that Muslims kill people for homosexuality, while Christian opposition (non-lethal) to homosexuality is cause for great angst.

There is no separation of religion and political rule under Islam. It is a system of theocratic rule that discriminates against non-muslims under law.

I’m feeling overwhelmed right now.

Don't be. In our corner we have God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We have the armies of heaven, God's angels dispatched to serve and protect us invisibly. We have God's Word. We have God's people, just waiting to work with us for His glory.

In their corner, they only have that old liar, Satan, a being that tends to overreach himself time after time, then breaks his tools in a fit of spite when he fails.

What happens in my house is more important than what happens in the White House.

I can do something in my house to change the course of history. I can raise my own children "in the nurture and admonition of the Lord" to be people of purpose and destiny, people who do not participate in the cult of Caesar (Public "education"), and who do not take Caesar as seriously as he takes himself. Our future is as bright as the promises of God! See my tagline.

We need to stop bending over & allowing muslims to push their beliefs on us. If muslims can’t adapt to being American they should leave asap. We don’t need them here. It is not the will of Allah that they live here, they should live where their beliefs & way of life is normal, like their own hell hole countries. IMO muslims are a threat to our safety & a threat to our children’s safety. Our children are our future & we should protect them. As for teaching my child about muslims, I have started at the crusades & will not spare her the beheading & other horrible things muslims do & have done. I see no need to expose her to honor Allah, it is not my religion & how dare anybody expect that I should do so. If anything I will remind her weekly about 911 & the other terror attacks around the world.

Progressively worse behavior by our benevolent educators.

20 years ago, when I was in public high school, I was being taught how good Islam was and about the two large Islamic groups - Sunni and Shia (but, not about them murdering each other). We were taught how about the horrible Crusades and all the great accomplishments of Islam (Algebra, etc.).

Now, I don't believe the Algebra came from the Islamists. They are more like the aliens in Independence day that take over technologies and cultures.

Islam and the Psychology of the Musulman by Andre Servier, was published in French in 1922 and translated to English 1923. Click the link to read it for yourself. Here's a typical observation:

When Islam first rolled in, a culture's creative impulses flared up briefly one last time, like a light bulb when the filament shorts out. A generation later, the "Islamic" renaissance would be over, and the area as mired in stupidity as every other fully islamized society.

Clinton's Presidential Guideline, "Religious Expression in Public School," states: "Students generally do not have a Federal right to be excused from lessons that may be inconsistent with their religious beliefs or practices."

I'm not sure how anyone thinks that could be true in the context of the First Amendment, but that's why we have a Second Amendment. My children will not be indoctrinated on beliefs that contradict God's Law.

At the end of the day, we're either a Christian nation (not established by the state, but through free exercise of religion like America was until the 20th century), or we’re duped by every snake-oil salesman, huckster, and jihadist to come down the pike.

The mistake was having government schools. Only in a **private** setting can children get a thoroughly religiously based education that is fully integrated into every minute of their day. Children need an education that teaches their family's **specific** religious traditions.

At their very best government schools in the mid-1800s, offered a watered down, and lukewarm Protestantism. ( Well...We know what Christ does with the lukewarm!)

Opening government schools ( and making them compulsory) destroyed the private market for the homeschooling, Sunday schooling, private church run schools, and home=based tutoring academies that had educated our young since its founding.

This idiocy is CAUSED by the unconstitutional heresy of separation of church and state.

Even if we as a society could go back to some magical era in government schooling, the anemic Christianity offered up in the very best of the government schools, was NOT NOT NOT enough to raise up citizens who could stare down atheistic Marxism and now fascist Islam.

We must close down the government schools. We must get our nation's children into conservative private schools that will integrate the child's specific Judeo Christian religious traditions into every minute of every school day.

Along those same lines, imagine requiring kids to genuflect and perform the sign of the cross to “demonstrate Catholicism.”

I only learned about Islam after I joined the Navy (1988), and I grew up in the Houston, TX metro area.

I was a nominal Christian growing up, but in the last decade I’ve become more aware of what the true societal norms SHOULD be (God’s norms), and how I was seduced by the world growing up.

Opening the day with Bible reading and prayer is not offering a lukewarm Protestantism. Schools were for education not religious indoctrination and parents were expected to teach their children their own religious faith at home.

Opening the day with Bible reading and prayer only reflected societal values in that time.

Besides, the Protestant Bible contains books recognized as Scripture by all the major religions in the US at that time.

One room school houses were supported and run by the local communities and reflected their values. In spite of your tinfoil hat conspiracy theory paranoia, there is no indication that there was some sort of conspiracy to Protestantize the the whole country.

The problems started after the efforts to eliminate God from the public schools. When Christianity gets kicked out and is replaced with atheism, is when something moves in to fill the vacuum, just as is happening in Europe and is starting to happen here.

And for that you can thank the ACLU and it's cohorts.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I would say that the problems started when the first government school opened in the mid-1800s. Instead of receiving an education that was thoroughly grounded in that child's specific religion, the government school children were fed a generic ( lukewarm) Protestantism that could be accepted by the majority of the voters.

Right there at the beginning, generic and lukewarm is a problem. ( We know what Christ does to the lukewarm.)

When government opened compulsory tuition-free government schools it created a very hostile business climate for the forms of education that had taught generations of citizens up to the mid-1800s: homeschools, private tutoring academies in the homes of teachers, Sunday schools, and private schools.

Then add to the toxic mix the fact that Utopian Progressives ( who were highly influenced by the Marxist philosophies of Europe) have always been in charge of teacher training and curriculum development. That government schools would move to more and more secularism was inevitable.

My grandmother ( born in 1894) was subjected to a government schooling that was essentially godless. Yes, there were a few minutes of prayer in the morning. Yes, her teachers were able to soften the effects of the godless secularism,..but..her government education even by the late 1800s and early 1900s was **secular**.

What our nation needs are private conservative schools that will totally integrate the child's Judeo Christian religious beliefs throughout the entire curriculum. Lukewarm and generic will not be enough to defeat Marxism or Islamofascism.
