While Obama and Congress sit on their hands on border security, a drug cartel planned a terrorist attack on American soil.
The Houston Chronicle is reporting that a drug cartel was plotting to blow up the Falcon dam along the Texas border near Rio Grande City, an area of about 4 million residents. The cartel known as Los Zetes was intending on placing dynamite near the dam to blow it up in order to get revenge on a rival gang called the Gulf Cartel, which smuggles drugs in the area.
Meanwhile in Washington, the meeting between Obama and Arizona Governor Jan Brewer did not appear to get too much accomplished and rampant illegal immigrants & drugs continue to flow through our porous border.
And California is going to allow Mexico to issue IDs for illegals?
Damn!

If the Mexican drug thugs ever blow up a dam or any other major facility or edifice in the US it will be time to hunt them down like we did years ago with Pancho Villa.
They are just here to blow up the dams American workers are not willing to blow up.
Illegal immigrants & drugs continue to flow through our porous border.

Nothing really new here. California is just a suburb of Mexico. All is lost.
Many of us are trying! Obama has ignored requests by Gov. Perry to send more troops. Not denied - flat ignored.
While there may have been a plot — or at least talk of it — one really has to question whether it was feasible. The amount of explosives required would be huge; and the time and effort required to accomplish it would make the preparations rather obvious.
I really have no idea about what it takes to blow up a dam, but this whole story just adds to the out of control border situation. I’d rather not wait until someone successfully pulls off an attack.
