White House press icon Helen Thomas apologizes for saying Jews should 'get out of Palestine'

Color me cynical when I read so-and-so of the Jewish Congress "rebuked" Thomas for her anti-semetic statements.

The aggregate Jewish vote last presidential election was probably 70-80% for Obama. Since his immaculation, Obama has created the climate for the Helen Thomases of this nation to crawl out of the woodwork and spout their hateful rhetoric against Jews.

I've heard little from either the religious or the secular Jewish community that in any way consistently faults or even questions the actions of the Obamafuehrer and his ill-concealed contempt and betrayal of their brethren in Israel.

Helen Thomas will get token reprimands from the Jewish organizations and media for a while.....she may even be "retired"......but the incident will then die a quick death......and Obama will remain untouched.

Genuine support for the state of Israel, whether it be emotional, moral, or practical, is only to be found on the Right in this country. It's shameful...but I don't see it changing. If Obama were up for reelection in three weeks, American Jewry would still throw itself over a cliff to endorse him, finance him and vote for him.

Just went over to the Huffington Post for fun to see what they were saying this. All the Moderators, leaders, and main folks are completely supportive of Helen Thomas and even reiterating the “truth” of her statements. It's almost unbelievable.
