But you're right, ours are a bit more.....shall we say.......less conspicuous. At least our cops and prosecutors TRY to make is look like they are not trying to humiliate the person. They just happened to stop the white van in front of the gathered throng of reporters and cameramen to escort the handcuffed individual there through the courthouse door.....that's all.

Actually, Joran would have been very fortunate to be arrested for extortion over here as opposed to facing a murder charge in Peru.
