Van der Sloot Victim Video Seals Peru Case
News Oxy ^ | Rob Adams

Posted on 06/06/2010 1:32:36 PM PDT by libh8er

Van der Sloot victim video. This photo is from the hotel's camera and shows Joran van der Sloot exiting the room with Stephany Flores left inside. The video reveals both the suspect and Stephany Flores entering the room which became the murder scene.

"He speaks Spanish fluently and we took a statement from him in Spanish, where he denies any involvement and the charges brought against him," Chilean Investigative Police Officer Fernando Ovalle Gatica said in a statement. "Naturally, he needs to face the murder that took place here and if the courts find him responsible for that murder, he will have to fulfill his sentence here," President Alan Garcia said in a statement. "Don't worry, this murderer will pay. He will pay for what he's done," Stephany's father Ricardo Flores said.

What makes this murder investigation sealed tight is that the video evidence shows Joran van der Sloot entering and leaving the scene. More compelling, is that it just happened to be the fifth anniversary Natalie Holloway's disappearance, to the day. This is why investigators believe the suspect is a serial killer, and if so, there could be more cases involved.

When Van der Sloot left the hotel room, he told the desk attendant, "Don't bother my girl," and was never seen again. For those to believe he is guilty of Holloway's murder, the prison in Peru, isn't so great. Sources say that he's in a dirty jail cell with screaming sounds from other inmates that occur 24 hours a day.

Gotcha!

Peruvian prison should be a perfect home for a 22 year old gringo that killed a local girl :)

Oh crap. I'll bet "Amnasty Int'l" is already on the case. This is "torture".

So he's in the hell he deserves. Too bad another innocent had to die before he was caught.

” the fifth anniversary Natalie Holloway’s disappearance, to the day. “

Investigators need to find out where he’s been on that day, for the past 7 or 8 years, and see if there are any unsolved murders or disappearances that have taken place.

I believe when it is all said and done, there will be multiple innocents.

Would not be surprised if his passport is not being thoroughly scrutinized as to his points of visits.

The dude shoulda confessed to the Natalie thing...

He would have gotten a better deal in prison there. I’m inclined to think the Peruvians won’t mess around!

Did anyone see Great last night? She replayed an interview she did in 2008 with “Urine”. He was spouting that he sold Natalee to a man for $10k who put her in white slavery. He wanted Greta to go to Venezuela and investigate so people would believe his innocence.

He did confess to the Natalie thing...several different times with several different stories...they just “couldn’t” gather enough evidence to prosecute...according to Aruba’s keystone cops.

Stephany's father Ricardo Flores said.

Picked the wrong victim this time.

Even if the authorities were not going to do anything, although they most certainly are, Papa, and any brothers, uncles and male cousins, most likely would.

Although I suppose I should want the authorities to take care of things, I wouldn't shed any tears if the family handles the matter either.

Please.

OJ was innocent

Michael Jackson did NOT molest any children

President Obama really does care about America

LBJ and Hoover did not and could not have killed JFK, those autopsy photos and other faked evidence don't prove a thing

Jayna Davis with boxes of depositions showing IRAQ was involved with the OKC bombing in1995 was nothing but lies

Sometimes the obvious answer is the right answer.

You almost have the impression that he’s killed more than just two women. In the Peruvian atmosphere...he might break down and admit more...just to get some better treatment (that’s non-existent).

No kidding. He likely would have gotten a nickel in Club Fed Aruba or Amsterdam.

Now if they get a conviction it's probably gonna be 20 years + in the Lori Berenson Suite at Yanamayo Prison (elevation 12,000 feet). I hope the punk brought his oxygen tank.

read that it was a seedy $40.00/night hostel. Probably thought there were no cameras. Wonder if they were the type that were hidden?

My understanding is that in Peru the conviction standard is a preponderance of the evidence and 3 judges will decide the case. Based on the victims family connections I suspect some jail justice to be handed to him by his fellow inmates or guards in prison. Dead man walking.

Yep, and considering that her father was 2 times a Pres. candidate he won't get off this time. He will get "special care" whatever happens to him.

Fantastic!

I remember seeing an episode of “Locked Up Abroad” about some unfortunate folks who landed themselved in jail there, or perhaps it was Bolivia, I can’t be 100% certain. Apparently, the prison is run by the inmates, and the guards simply ensure that the prisoners don’t walk out the front door. Everything must be paid for by the prisoner. Rent must be paid to gangs, food must be purchased. Basically, if you don’t have someone outside sending you funds, you are done for.

Furthermore, apparently the fact that one is a Englais or gringo entitles you to further abuse. And on top of that, he is a 22 year old gringo who murdered a local girl whose dad is a somebody.

I would love to be able to watch day by day via remote camera what happens to Juran Vander Sloat as he descends into Earth’s Hell. Enjoy your misery, Joran, you deserve it.

You or wouldn't like it, but if he's a psychopath with somewhat higher than average intelligence, a lawless, corrupt prison might be the sort of environment in which he would flourish. Think of Hannibal Lechter, for instance.

There was yelling coming from the room...The time of that will nail it. Funny when something disturbs you....we do tend to look at the clock and/or relate it to something we're doing. We're usually pretty good at time....but identification...we stick....

Describe the last person you saw when you walked out of the supermarket yesterday. I can't either....

The irony here is that he would have been far better off copping a plea in Aruba for Holloway’s death. Getting away with that one only helped ensure that he’d meet a tougher form of justice in the end.
