Nudists to lobby Capitol Hill this week By Jordan Fabian - 06/07/10 09:53 AM ET
The nudist lobby is headed to Capitol Hill this week to discuss issues important to it with Congress.
The American Association for Nude Recreation sent out a colorful press release Monday morning announcing the visit.
While on Capitol Hill, the AANR will push back against "well-intentioned" Internet legislation it says could affect nudist websites and businesses.
Here are some excerpts from the release.
Kissimmee, FL (June 4, 2010) Nudists with the American Association for Nude Recreation say there may not be a nude beach in Washington. But they have established a beach head on Capitol Hill and they wont be yielding it any time soon.
[snip]
According to AANR, more than 40 million Americans have skinny-dipped. But how do you spot nudists in and about the nations capitol? Theyre dressed in business attire so its not easy at first. There are subtle clues, however. Some wear buttons that say Nudist and I vote! or Its Hip to Skinny Dip!
They also come bearing (baring?) small giveaways such as emery boards, window decals, and packets of sunscreen with clever messaging. Theyre fun ways of introducing topics that are serious business for the nudists, who are also equipped with policy statements and information on Nakationing nude vacationing.
Well, like the rest of us, they too are barely getting by.
TTIWWP!
"If you are a family with children 18 and under and are looking for 8 fun-filled days of acceptance, growth, freedom and fun, all you need to do is come to Sunsport Gardens Family Naturist Resort in July. Each year in July Sunsport Gardens in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida, hosts The Naturist Societys youth camp. Last summer we hosted the Third Annual Naturist Society Youth Camp.
As Youth Camp Director, each year I have learned ways to do things better for the next year. The Youth Camp is not just a place for children to learn new things, learn body acceptance, play games, go to the beach, or even embrace a lifestyle. I have learned that this experience is a family reunion. This year we had a total of 18 children which included all of the children and families that attended last years Youth Camp. With everyone returning and new families joining, I have learned that this is the one time as parents we can watch and experience this lifestyle choice with our children to its fullest potential.
All the families that come to Youth Camp express their struggles with finding a place that accepts families with children and more specifically a place where many families gather in one place so that the children have other children with whom to do things. Youth Camp is this time! Families from all over the country gather together to embrace our lifestyle choice to its fullest. Campers enjoy reuniting and meeting friends from all over the country - and all the activities that are planned are just a bonus!
There are so many activities that it is hard to say that any one was more fun than the next because all the activities had a different kind of fun.
Delta and Airtran flights are 158 RT...git ‘em while you can
They will continue by insisting to teach our children that this behavior is to be accepted, even celebrated and that anyone who speaks against it is a "hater"
There is truth in that RKit......., guess the nudists in DC wont have to worry about concealing any weapons!
I am glad to hear this group is active as my “libertine” side agrees with their actions. Sorry Freeps but skinny dipping is liberating!
Thank God that Helen Thomas retired effective immediately and before this started. I would hate to see her go “under cover” to report this story!
Long before I married Hubby, I was just starting to get to know a guy who came over to my apartment one day and proceeded to remove every stitch of clothing and sit around as if that were just fine. All I could think of was smegma and butt pimples. Later I disinfected the couch.
It was our last “date.”
Clothing does more than just preserve our modesty.
“That’s funny, you don’t *look* Jewish.”
What? I disinfect things all the time.

I meant your guest.
But as for your comment:
At first I was impressed.
And then I noticed the rope...
