Columbia, South Carolina (CNN) - Former presidential candidates Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Rudy Giuliani have recorded robocalls for South Carolina gubernatorial hopeful Henry McMaster in a last minute get-out-the-vote effort ahead of Tuesday's four-way Republican primary.
McCain's call began hitting households over the weekend, while Giuliani's is planned to go out Monday, according to McMaster's campaign.
McCain, who won the Palmetto State's pivotal presidential primary in 2008, tells voters that he and his wife Cindy "have a special place in our hearts for the wonderful people of South Carolina." McMaster, the state's Attorney General, was one of McCain's top surrogates in the 2008 primary campaign.

Won’t help. It’s almost certainly going to be Nikki Haley and Gresham Barrett in a runoff after tomorrow.
He probably does like SC, considering he won the primary there and it’s got one of the highest proportion of military veterans of any state. Meh. He’s a politician, doing what politicians do. Hopefully in several months he’ll be a *retired* politician.

Insistant, wealthy and conscienceless, the RINOs plague the GOP and vex it more than Democrats do.

With these endorsements, Haley will pick up another 2-4% of the vote.

Words that I can use here on FR are completely inadequate to express my displeasure with Juan and Rudy. I agree with rabs, they can both go to Hell.

It will be absolutely delightful if Nikki can bypass the runoff.

David “Sleazely” Beasley endorsed McMaster, too, which too him off my list. I am voting for Haley. Frankly, we have some pretty good candidates to chose from. And Bauer.

I’ll be voting for Nikki when the polls open in the morning. With all the mud that flew in the last two weeks I am hopeful that she avoids a runoff. Our country-club republicans need a wake-up call.

"John McCain and Rudy Giuliani are no strangers to South Carolina, they literally have thousands of longtime Republican friends here, and they strongly support Henry...." Juan, Rudy, Lindsey and all of their thousands of "friends" can go pound sand.
