N.M. High Court: Emissions Cap Proposal May Proceed

SANTA FE -- The New Mexico Supreme Court on Monday cleared the way for a state regulatory panel to resume consideration of a petition to establish a cap on greenhouse gas emissions in the state.

The justices vacated a lower court ruling that effectively halted the state Environmental Improvement Board's process for gathering expert testimony and public comments related to an environmental group's emissions proposal.

The Richardson administration in conjunction with some Santa Fe enviro-nazis are trying to set regulations to cap greenhouse gas emissions from manufacturing and the oil and gas industry in New Mexico (the O&G industry is NM's golden goose but the enviro's are doing their best to kill it.). Various industry groups sued and got a ruling from a lower court judge who put the process on hold while he considered the merits of the case. The state supreme court overturned that ruling today. The state Environmental Improvement Board will now proceed to hold public hearings on the matter, probably in late summer or fall.

To put a stop to those who believe in the global warming scam and want to implement unnecessary greenhouse gas rules, it is critical that Richardson cronies and radical environmental appointees be booted out of office this fall by the electing the conservative Republican Susana Martinez over Lt. Gov. Diane Denish.

He’s not going to be happy until he breaks this state, once and for all, leaving it in ruins.

I hope the public hearings turn into a debate over the merits of global warming with the most recent information on the scam that it is. If there is no man-made global warming (let alone any at all) there is no need for regulations to control a problem that doesn’t exist. This is a good time to put some nails in that coffin.

The Richardson administration in conjunction with some Santa Fe enviro-nazis ....

The enviro fruitcakes in this instance are a group called New Energy Economy led by a Dr. John Fogarty, a Santa Fe physician. Fogarty says with the ruling "expert witnesses assembled by his group will be able to present their case to regulators and speak to what he described as serious social, economic and public health problems that stem from unchecked emissions and global warming."

I wonder what serious social, economic and public health problems arise from not having jobs, affordable energy and a lower standard of living?

I'm sure that when the Mexicans take over, they'll find civilization in New Mexico regressed to the level to which they are accustomed.

"He’s not going to be happy until he breaks this state, once and for all, leaving it in ruins."

Trust me on this one: That was his plan from the start.

When he retires back in OLD Mexico, he will just laugh and laugh at the suckers in NM who voted him into Congress back in the old days, and voted for him to run the state afterward.
