We saw Natalie Cole in Tahoe opening for Lou Rawls. Didn't know at the time that she was on cocaine. She struggled through a set and then tried to sing Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds. Her voice cracked and failed throughout. About half-way thru, Rawls came on the stage and turned it into a duet. When the song was over he escorted her off the stage and encouraged applause. He always seemed like a classy guy.
Soon after, she went into rehab. Then we saw her when her album came out with her father's songs. She did a duet of Unforgettable with her father on video. Not a dry eye in the house. Strong voice and I think she still performs.
I pray for Whitney that she can come all the way back.

I will give you an honest answer. I personally do not find African-American women attractive.
First we must define African-American. There are many women who call themselves African-American such as Halle Berry , and Alicia Keyes who really are African-American by blood. Some call them Hybrids, others call them mixed race. They have a white and a black parent, and are quite attractive, but are they really what you call African-American?
I went over to Google and looked for Beautiful Black women and most of the names that came up were women of mixed race.
Robert De Niro has had two black wives and prefers to date black women. Tiger Woods dated aboout 30 white blondes.It’s all a matter of taste, My taste runs toward the Natalie Wood type. To me she was one of the most beautiful women in the world. IMO murdered by her husband, who got away clean.
I saw Natalie Cole a few months ago and she gave an incredible performance. She ended with a gospel song that was fantastic. She’s a wonderful performer and she beat her addiction and I pray Whitney gets healthy as well.

A friend of mine in Pomona CA was driving I-10 when he saw a woman on the side of the road standing by her Cadillac. It had a flat tire. He got out and changed her tire. Later that week, a color TV was delivered to his home, paid for by Mrs. Nat King Cole.
