Russia condemns Israel for its recent military operation against the Gaza-bound humanitarian aid convoy and will make this clear at the UN Security Council.
This came in a statement by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin when he spoke at a news conference following his talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Erdogan in Istanbul.
The city is playing host to the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia.
Putin offered condolences over victims among Turkish human rights activists. He said he especially deplored the fact that the attack was mounted in neutral waters. The Russian Prime Minister added that he had discussed the situation at length with Erdogan.
Israel attacked the Gaza-bound Freedom Flotillas six ships with human rights activists and humanitarian cargo on board on May 31st. Nine Turkish human rights activists died in the attack.
Russia, Iran, Turkey --- time for Libya to chime in
The kettle is black....
Russia denounces Israel.
I’m shocked. /s
Gog and Magog, gathering like wolves
Surprise surprise...."First they came for the Jews...but I was not a Jew....."
We could use an Adlai Stevenson over there right now, with a few good screen captures.
A tough Russia would have sent a chunk of the Black Sea fleet to the Eastern Med. This “me too” by Putin just shows how irrelevant his country is.
“We’re sorry for not allowing the terrorists to watch a movie before dealing with them the way Russia did, namely gassing them to death.”
“We’re sorry we did not allow the terrorists to take over an elementary school and hold hundreds of our children hostage before dealing with them the way Russia did, namely assaulting the school and causing tens of dozens of deaths.”
“But we’re most sorry about not following the course of Russia which was to utterly flatten the town where the terrorists originated, Grozny, killing thousands of them. Next time, we will probably have to do it Russia’s way”.
Don't those people have like some sort of book or something they could use for a reference? It might help their credibility...
Remind me how the ruskies dealt with the Somali pirates?
Yeah ... I don’t know why so many typos get through like that.
It is titled correctly but that opening makes me wince too.
It’s very difficult to proofread your own work.
Of course I wince because this nation, apparently, can no longer tell the difference between “lose” and “loose”.
I’ve seen it in the almost-MSM here and there.
Good grief America.
Yeah... that happens alot. :)
One TV station created an ad for a car dealership and their method of (high interest I'm sure) financing used cars.
Israel might be interested in a course on ‘how to win friends and influence people’ unless they don’t give a crap and stop worrying about why people don’t like them.
