Bill Clinton calls La. senator 'sinner' in fundraising letter
12:45 PM, June 8, 2010 ι By DAVID SEIFMAN
Former President Clinton has sent out a fundraising letter on behalf of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee under his own name warning that Republicans are trying to "derail' President Obama's agenda.
Not much unexpected there.
But along with the letter, Clinton has included a flyer from the DSCC that's bound to raise eyebrows.
"DSCC funds go towards efforts to unseat far-right Republican senators like admitted sinner David Vitter..." the flyer says, referring to the Louisiana senator who admitted patronizing a prostitution service when he was in the House.
Vitter has been a Clinton foe for a long time, calling on President Clinton to step down in 1998 because of his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

He’s the expert.
Clinton calling someone a sinner? LOL!
These politicians really do think we are dumb, don’t they?
"DSCC funds go towards efforts to unseat far-right Republican senators like admitted sinner David Vitter..."
Its not sex if you pay for it, right Slick?
Pot meet kettle................
Let me guess, he's bone again.
...yes, I know...
You use that word a lot. I do not think it means what you think it means.
I love satire...
I guess it’s easy to smear other people when you yourself are bathed in shit.
It was ok when Bill Clinton did it because he only admitted it after he was forced to by criminal conviction.
Ooooh, good one
Rockthrower Bill must have moved out of his glass house and into one with very thick plexiglass walls
Yeah, Bubba doesn’t recall, evidently, about getting sexual favors, in his office, from a young woman just a bit older than his daughter.
Imagine, getting a h****r and then going upstairs for dinner?
Well, as Bubba often says, “character is a journey.” Oh really? I hadn’t known.
Bill Clinton has never had any shame. He will never have any shame. And the Democrats will never allow any shame to harm him.
Let He Who Is Without Sin Cast The First Stone”???Bubba just shouldn’t go there!
OK, let’s clear things up here. David Vitter had admitted to his wife a while ago about his behavior. Wendy had and has forgiven him. He confessed to his priest and Almighty God his error and God is faithful to forgive. That was an old story by the time the MSM got it. David Vitter is a sinner - so am I, so is everyone. One difference in the two men. David Vitter took responsibility, Clinton “I didn’t have sex with that woman” didn’t. I’ve got news for Clinton - we are going to reelect David Vitter and kick Mary Landrieu to the curb when the time comes - so his words are just as much trash as he is.
Both Clinton and Vitter are immoral.
He said those words and didn’t choke on them? He could sell the Brooklyn Bridge.
Senator Pot, meet President Kettle!
Chutzpah, with a capital XXX.
He must not have seen it before it went out. Slick is more conniving than to throw out a line like that without knowing there would be blow-back. He is a wad of phlegm, but no one has ever said he is stupid.
I guess this would be one of those “takes one to know one” situations?
We all are, Bubba, in one way or another. But I wouldn’t have gone there if I were you?
Oh, it’s conceivable all right.
P.S., it helps to have low expectations of politicians.
Too funny! I’ll agree that BJ doesn’t write his own fundraising letters.
LOL! Pot meet kettle...
Bill Clinton cleverly skirting the issue once again.
Makes sense. I always saw the picture of him walking to the helicopter carrying a bible with the cover out. He must really be a moral authority then! ;-)
Takes one to know one! :o)
I think Clinton has lost some of his “smartz” since his heart surgery. Maybe under the anesthetic too long. They did tell me when my Mum had similar surgery, to expect personality changes. Clinton is still personable and certainly functional, but just doesn’t seem able to have the pizzazz to pour that oil on troubled waters like he once did.
I guess I’m missing something. Aren’t we all sinners? Perhaps Mr Clinton can point out a sinless politician to me.
Timber meet mote
“Bill Clinton calls La. senator ‘sinner’ in fundraising letter”
“a: impossible to comprehend b: unbelievable”
Seems to fit.
I guess bjs under the desk in the oval office doesn't rise to the level of sin in Clinton's warped mind.
He always claimed that oral sex was not sexual relations.
Led to that young generation of the time to go overboard with oral sex & I had more than one lively discussion with my nephew who was born in 1967 on that topic.
He was convinced that IF Pres Clinton said it was so, that it was so.
No one could move him off his position.
I actually miss that guy. All he did was make me mad as hell. He didn’t cause me to despair for my country.
