Bill Clinton calls La. senator 'sinner' in fundraising letter
12:45 PM, June 8, 2010 ι By DAVID SEIFMAN
Former President Clinton has sent out a fundraising letter on behalf of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee under his own name warning that Republicans are trying to "derail' President Obama's agenda.
Not much unexpected there.
But along with the letter, Clinton has included a flyer from the DSCC that's bound to raise eyebrows.
"DSCC funds go towards efforts to unseat far-right Republican senators like admitted sinner David Vitter..." the flyer says, referring to the Louisiana senator who admitted patronizing a prostitution service when he was in the House.
Vitter has been a Clinton foe for a long time, calling on President Clinton to step down in 1998 because of his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

Both Clinton and Vitter are immoral.
He said those words and didn’t choke on them? He could sell the Brooklyn Bridge.
Senator Pot, meet President Kettle!
Chutzpah, with a capital XXX.
He must not have seen it before it went out. Slick is more conniving than to throw out a line like that without knowing there would be blow-back. He is a wad of phlegm, but no one has ever said he is stupid.
I guess this would be one of those “takes one to know one” situations?
We all are, Bubba, in one way or another. But I wouldn’t have gone there if I were you?
Oh, it’s conceivable all right.
P.S., it helps to have low expectations of politicians.
Too funny! I’ll agree that BJ doesn’t write his own fundraising letters.
LOL! Pot meet kettle...
Pot...Kettle?
Bill Clinton cleverly skirting the issue once again.
Makes sense. I always saw the picture of him walking to the helicopter carrying a bible with the cover out. He must really be a moral authority then! ;-)
Takes one to know one! :o)
I think Clinton has lost some of his “smartz” since his heart surgery. Maybe under the anesthetic too long. They did tell me when my Mum had similar surgery, to expect personality changes. Clinton is still personable and certainly functional, but just doesn’t seem able to have the pizzazz to pour that oil on troubled waters like he once did.
Yep...
I guess I’m missing something. Aren’t we all sinners? Perhaps Mr Clinton can point out a sinless politician to me.

Pot...meet kettle.
