Meg Whitman, the billionaire former eBay chief executive who poured tens of millions of her own fortune into her first-time bid for political office, easily won the Republican primary for California governor Tuesday, advancing to face a Democratic icon, former two-term Gov. Jerry Brown.

But can she win against Jerry Brown ?
She bought this one, she can buy the next one too!
Is that good?
I must have said 2 dozen times that I would vote for Poizner in the Primary, watch him get his butt handed to him by Whitman, and vote for RINO Whitman to prevent a natural disaster occurring from another Reign of Terror from a Governor Brown, who I expect to win anyway.
Conservative forums like this acted like Poizner had more than a snowballs chance in hell. Buy a clue. The money wins. You want a conservative, then we need a rich conservative to ante up and buy in? If you run a rich RINO and poor conservative, you get a rich RINO.
What will Whitman have left to oppose Governor Moonbeam Marx.
You just wait until all the Union money pours in for Brown and he gets elected and finishes the damage he did his 1st two terms.
CALIFORNIA IS DOOMED. Lord, you can bring on that 8.5 magnitude earthquake centered on San Francisco/Oakland bay bridge any time. Just please make sure my Mother is not caring for my Uncle in the city when you do it. Thank you.
Please do not pray for my family’s destruction!
As for Jerry Brown, SEIU wants him, so I’ll be voting Whitman if only to chap their collective hide.
Highly doubtful she can win against Brown. Brown is a known quantity. He’s left wing as hell but he’s principled and honest in his own left wing loony way. Unless the Democrats stay home in November and the Republicans are excited by Whitman (doubtful) I believe it’s his race to lose.
She is going to be up against a war chest of extorted union money. Extorted because the unions steal money from the membership without their explicit permission.
Brown is going to buy another Governorship with a war chest of union money. Now, who thinks he is going to cut union pay after that?
The Sampler (that's Whitman's Sampler, for those in Rio Linda) gets the nomination. Here's a question: suppose the twit is elected? Does anything actually CHANGE in Calbania?
Well, just a thought...
Jerry Brown was a disaster the first time he was governor, unfortunately too many people are too young to remember.. but he also was a disaster in Oakland as mayor... so IMHO anything is better than Brown.
Not surprising. Poizner(D) is a dumbbell.
So you can buy an election. Good to know...
She’ll be winning in November without my help, if at all.
I’ll never cast a vote for this lying wench.
From what I know, she is real tight with Van Jones which means there will be plenty environmental money & progressive money flowing her way.
I must have said 2 dozen times that I would vote for Poizner in the Primary, watch him get his butt handed to him by Whitman, and vote for RINO Whitman to prevent a natural disaster occurring from another Reign of Terror from a Governor Brown,I am SO tired of having to choose the lessor evil!
Twit?????? You know what I’m sick of??? people who call women names..... call her by her name.. Whitman!
I'm sorry for the pain, but the collateral damage is necessary this time. The rats must be extinguished. You are just a pawn in this war. I'll be happy to pray for you and your family after I get that 8.5 magnitude quake centered on Treasure Island. I have family and friends in they bay area. All pawns. Sorry.
This never came out before the election, in any mainstream media.
People in CA believe Jerry Brown is just wonderful, and we can’t do a thing about their ignorance.
So its official that conservatism is over in CA.
Buh Bye Calipornia
Lets see who gets nominated from the American Independent party.
If it is a decent candidate, put your full weight behind him or her.
