“the CEO alone isn’t the final word on company decisions, which are made by the board of directors.”
Well that is technically correct. Took those geniuses how many days to come up with that?

Oh Please, the BP board is keeping the US faux president of the US from talking to Heyward?
Gibbs is a dolt.

So he has been in charge from day one, but he is not in charge?

Obama would rather meet with Hamas than Hayward.
In Obama’s world, the underwear bomber gets mirandized and access to a lawyer, BP is guilty before there is any information about what happened on the Deepwater Horizon.
It’s easier to malign the man and the company on camera than it is to meet with him and tell him what your thoughts are about the problem. Because if you meet with him, you have to have something coherent to say. And usually one on one conversations don’t permit use of a teleprompter.

But, but, but, I thought Caligula said that HE was definitely in charge from DAY ONE and that the WH was making all the decisions.
They must think we can neither remember nor read.

To: Nachum
How Gibbs has managed to stay in that job for so long is beyond me. The man is a daily laughingstock. Well, his lapdogs in the media don’t thing so, but everyone else in America does.

You mean to tell me that the guy who tells everyone who will pay attention that he is the President. You mean to tell me that the guy who fired the GM president can't talk to the president of BP?
What do we have for a President and an administration?

What utter BS. Zero said he didn’t mind negotiating with Iran but he won’t meet with CEO of BP... maybe if the head of BP were a black and/or Muslim then zero would have met with him.
All zero knows is to follow Alinsky and Alinsky didn’t preach how to actually solve problems - just how to create them.

Now I'm confused. 0 said the gubment has been in control since day 1.
In all my years I have never seen or heard a president behave the way 0 does. Today's Wall Street Journal absolutely nails it.
