The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen, said Wednesday he is disappointed by the international community's "tepid" response to North Korea's attack on a South Korean warship and called on China to step up and do more.

Hey Admiral, how about America’s tepid response to North Korea sinking the ship? I must be honest, I don’t really care because I wonder why are we still there after 50 years. I say bring our troops home and put them on our southern border.

It is guys like him that make me embarrassed to be a Navy vet when I have to consider him.
If you mean by "our" the average patriotic American you are right. If you mean the administration who are now running this country and representing us to the world, you are wrong. The Chicoms and this administration have a lot in common.
You should see his namby pamby speeches to the troops. He’s clearly more concerned about social justice and political correctness than military readiness. He certainly doesn’t inspire my confidence in his ability to wage war, but I will say this, he fits the Obama (mal)administration to a T!
BTW, I’ve known good, bad, and terrible officers. Some of the best were tough as nails, politically incorrect, and abrasive at times, but they inspired confidence. I would have followed them anywhere. Unfortunately, many more were bureaucrats and managers who were simply working their way up the chain by being competent.

Mullin was part of the Navy cabal that invited the chicom navy to Pearl Harbor for a tour and tea. I remember being stunned to observe these USN toady fools in action.

The Russians just said that North Korea did NOT sink the South Korean vessel.
