The 15-year-old Mexican boy who was shot dead by a Border Patrol agent as U.S. authorities came under attack along the border Tuesday was known to authorities as a juvenile smuggler, sources close to the investigation told Fox News.
Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereka was shot once near the eye as U.S. Border Patrol agents on bicycles were "assaulted with rocks" as they tried to detain illegal immigrants on the Texas side of the Rio Grande.
Huereka was charged with alien smuggling in 2009, according to sources who requested anonymity. Further details were not immediately available.

Not a kid - a criminal felon.
I’m still not clear on this.
Was he a juvenile smuggler or was he a juvenile, smuggler?
Or perhaps he was a juvenile, juvenile smuggler...
Throwing rocks can easily create serious bodily damage or even death.
It can also render agents unconcious and incapable of defending themselves.
It was a clean kill, regardless of who the thrower was.
Nice shot!!!
exactly
Perhaps Mexicans etc need to be reminded, don’t come here illegally and no American will shoot you.
simple as that
I HATE how the MSM is making this smuggler out to be a happy teen.
wonder how much his family will try to extort out of us
There is your answer, Calderon. The juvenile criminal engages in human trafficking, and doesn’t like interference with his business. So he got dead. So sad, too bad.
Ah, a Mexican folk hero. That explains the fuss.
Any Spanish speakers care to translate?

The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle. The chalice from the palace has the brew that is true!
He was a Mod and a Rocker. He was a Mocker.
He was a Joker and a smoker a juvenile juggler and a midnight coyote
Pobrecito smuggler criminal should know better than to throw rocks at an official when he is illegally invading a country.
He deserves no pity or mourning.
“He deserves no pity or mourning. “
Well not pity exactly but it is sad that they are so stupid but WE will pay the price.
I expect riots in LA and elesewhere
Why does being mexican trump intelligence and common sense?
what semi smart Mexican would come here and then want here to be like Mexico
amusing and disturbing

The riots will be a good place for Migra to round up a few illegals
Ping!
Paging, AG Holder!
The Latino mindset is a little warped in that regard. The Mexicans dream of living the high life Mexican style, with huge haciendas, fine horses, the best of food and drink, smiling Indian or mestizo servants bowing and scraping as they rush to satisfy every whim of the haughty Spanish conquistador, who is whom the average Mexican undoubtedly sees when he looks in the mirror.
The theory is that when the Spaniards arrived in Mexico without women, they interbred (a lot) with the Indians. Later, when they started bringing in Spanish women, these mestizo families were forced into the background, making the offspring hijos de la puta madre. Now that almost all Mexicans are of mixed blood, or 99% Indian, the ideal is still the European Spaniard, as a look at any Mexican Soap Opera on TV will tell you.
The illegal aliens' theory apparently is that with the money they make in the US they can re-create the Mexican movie that is in their heads, starring themselves, of course. Also of course, if they tried that in Mexico, the well-heeled, well-armed, upper classes just might laugh them out of town, or much worse.
As Okra might say on TV, "This is a self-esteem problem." Or as Dr. Phil might say, "A national inferiority complex." Me? I just wonder what role the gringos are supposed to play in their low-rider fantasy movie, and why I am supposed to buy a ticket. (Which I might do, if Gilbert Roland or Lupe Velez were in it.)
Also remember, that wherever (and whenever) the flag of Spain flew for a few minutes, has demonstrably been pretty much a mess ever since.
Sad, but true. Look at the Philippines. The only exception that comes to mind is Guam.
