SecDef Hillary Rodham Clinton

Is Hillary Changing Jobs?

Rumors are ricocheting through Washington that Secretary of Defense Robert Gates wants to retire--and that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may soon replace him as Secretary of Defense.

And why not? The woman who campaigned for the Democratic presidential nomination with a TV ad declaring her “readiness” to fight has more than proven her grit in the last year. She stood up to Korea, blasted Pakistan, got pissed at Israel, came to terms with China.

Grooming for the big job...in 2012.

But, based on her past behavior, here "resume'" doesn't mean $#!+. Holding a "title" is not "doing the job"...just look at obama.

I'm sorry, but as a guy who wore the uniform for a quarter century and with kids who are currently wearing the uniform, I'm not comfortable having someone lead the Department of Defense who has never served in any branch of the Armed Forces.

Would we have someone run the Department of Justice who never practiced law, or NIH who never practiced medicine, or education who never instructed a student (assuming we should even have a DOE)?

"Wouldn’t that be a step down from Secretary of State?"

I would say yes, although it's only a tiny step down. But clearly, the SOS is ahead of the SecDef in the order of succession, if that means anything.

It's also giving her a ton of foreign policy experience for her resume (not that she's actually achieving anything).

"Cheney excepted? "

Sure, Cheney was great. But, one time someone went over Niagra Falls in a wooden barrel and lived to talk about it. Does that mean going over Niagra Falls in a wooden barrel is a good idea? Probably not.

Just because we've had some successful Secretaries of Defense that we're not prior service, doesn't mean it's a good idea.

I think it's all part of The Plan. The One probably can't be re-elected because of his unpopular policies. Hillary's warming up in the Bull (dyke) pen and will be able to win the Soros-Code Pink-Brainless Boomer-Clueless Feminist votes. If she succeeds him The One's policies will continue with even greater energy but with a much harsher totalitarian flavor. Gulags and mental hospital therapy for wrong-thinking "dissidents" may be a-comin'.

Hell, let her change jobs and when she shows the country hoe incompetent she is she won't help her chances in 2012. That said she has spouted some of the same ideas as zero, if you vote for Hillary you get another zero.

I think that Rahm gave Bohama bad advice when he suggested that Hillary be placed on the payroll to keep her in check? She has quite honestly out shined the half white dude. Unless he plays some fancy Chicago politics, Hillary will be his successor in 2012......

What the ass-kissing feminazi who wrote this fluff piece meant by "coming to terms" with China was the following:

"Okay, Ambassador Wun Hung Lo, here are the terms: You give my husband money for his campaign, and we'll give you lots of cool military secrets."

What a sleazy, spineless, America-hating old hag PIAPS is.
