There is a fundamental unfairness to singling out Israel, beset with enemies on every side, as the sole source of the problems of the Middle East. It’s a lot easier for American Jews to be seen as liberals and progressives than as supporters of Israel.
Obama hates Israel, I dont know why this is such a shock. Look at the people he has surrounded himself with his entire life, this doesn’t surprise me at all

From my experience, the people who visit Israel are mostly Christians looking for Biblical sites.

everytime this obamanation supports terror against Israel, I have to wonder just what it is going to take for the US Jews to get the message? Are they simply blind and deaf, as the Bible alludes? Nothing else makes sense to me. Otherwise they would see that they are as guilty as the obamantion and hitler (2 of a kind) in supporting these horrors against their privileged race.
If Hitler came back as a Democrat attacking Sarah Palin, non-religious "Jews" would vote for him. They put Marx over Moses. It is a disgrace. Thankfully religious (Orthodox) Jews are having 7.5 kids per family and voting Republican, while liberal JINOs are turning gay, aborting, or converting. I don’t know if you’ve seen the Ace of Spades’ treatment of this. It’s one of the most succinct yet powerful rebuttals of the WH policy I have seen anywhere. He is very articulate, and he reduces this mania to the bare bones very quickly.

I didn’t realize you were/are an Ace of Spades reader. When he gets fired up, he takes command of the language and makes truly formidable points. He can be crass, but he’s also the kind of guy you’d want in a foxhole next to you, if it every came to that, imho.

Obama is a sophomoric narcissist whose actions are guided by a combination of incredibly naive idealism and a towering self-regard.
And his idealism, in turn, was formed by the opinions with which he grew up -- which would be leftist in tone and tenor, and therefore (in this case) viscerally opposed to Israel.
I honestly don't believe he's given much thought to the longer-term consequences of his actions.
That's not true. American and Israeli interests in the region have been tightly intertwined for decades. Obama's doing nothing new: American presidents have always taken an interest in matters like this.
Obama's attitudes and treatment of Israel are quite different from those of his predecessors, however.
