Democrats Want to Destroy Fiorina and Angle
human events ^ | 6/11/10 | Roger Hedgecock

Posted on 06/11/2010 1:16:45 PM PDT by Nachum

Carly Fiorina overcame a competitive field to decisively win the California Republican Senate primary election, earning the right to compete against incumbent Democrat Sen. Barbara Boxer in the November election.

Sharron Angle came from way behind to win decisively in the Nevada Republican primary election, earning the right to compete against incumbent Democrat Sen. Harry Reid in November.

What is not yet publicly known is the scorched-earth negative campaigns already beginning against both of these Republican women.

What I would do to counter that would be a commercial with compilations of insanely stupid things that both of them (Boxer and Reid) have said over the past couple of years. Game. Set. Match. (actually there is enough for several campaign spots)

Roger Hedgecock is a former mayor of San Diego and now hosts his own talk radio show. He has subbed for Rush.

His column is worth reading just to get his glowing opinion og Sarah Palin!!!

According to Senator (don't call me ma'am) Boxer, Fiorina, as CEO of Hewlett-Packard, deliberately outsourced American jobs overseas, violated environmental standards and gouged her employees and the consuming public in a greedy drive to amass an obscene fortune

I don't know about "environmental standards" and "gouged her employees", but my advice to the Republicans is not to put up much of a fight on the matter of outsourcing and how happy HP employees, shareholders, and descendants of the founders were when she "resigned".

I am going to start calling some of these people 10/10’ers meaning that unless they get 10/10 on everything out of everyone, they wont support them.

Sounds like a great way to be in the minority party forever.

Thank you.

There are a lot of people here who can’t resist bashing Fiorina every chance they get, but who couldn’t identify many specific issues they disagree with her on.

Those who think she is somehow accountable for “ruining HP” are simply misinformed.

If you live in CA and don’t like her, fine, exercise your right at the ballot box. Otherwise let’s not echo the DU and Kos kiddies by dumping on our own candidate, who would be infinitely better than the incumbent.

I agree with you. We have two choices - Boxer or Fiorina. I am from CA. and Boxer is and has been terrible and the most liberal “thing” ever - beholding to all the unions and special interests. She isn’t even very bright.
She must be defeated!

I am not a Fiorina fan, not even remotely. However, if the Democrats are that terrified of Fiorina to resort to vicious attacks and even fabricate stuff, then Boxer must currently be in an extremely weak position.

Fiorina will have to spend about $100 million to win. The ratio of dems to repubs is huge.

What Carly and Meg can do that may help the other more competitive races is force the DIMS to spend money in CA. This will give the GOP a fighting chance in the other states.

We had a real conservative and we ditched him.

Outsourcing decisions are not solely made by the CEO. Every company outsources to increase profits.

Thanks onyx. Good article. The Dem smears of these women candidates will hopefully backfire, and like Hedgecock says, it's as much about Palin as it is about Fiorina and Angle. They know if Sarah Palin makes major inroads with women it will do decades' worth of institutional damage to the Left.

They will pull out all the stops and the ugliness will get much worse if that is possible. Buckle up.

I can see why the Barbara Boxer supporters on FR try to bash Fionina

Carly Fiorina has been endorsed by the National Right to Life, the California Pro-Life Council, and the Susan B. Anthony List.

She is pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-military, and pro-strict border security and against amnesty.

She is against Obamacare and will vote to repeal it and prevent the government takeover of private companies and industries.

Carly is also a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. She is a member of the NRA, has a 100% NRA rating, and she and her husband are gun owners.

She is pro-energy development and believes as I do in an all-of-the-above approach to energy independence.

She is against cap and tax. And most importantly,
