Yeah, the “lose the Hispanic vote” conservatives seem to resort more to hysteria than to hard facts I think. The important thing is not to write off Hispanics as voters or officeholders. Same goes for blacks. You just shouldn’t throw away want you stand for though to get a few more votes.
I think it will help the GOP when Hispanic Republicans win in Florida and New Mexico this November.
