The search for nearly two dozen people who disappeared after flash floods swept through a popular campground went from desperate to grim on Saturday, after teams that scoured miles of river and rugged wilderness found just two bodies.

The last time someone was found alive was late Friday morning, hours after a pre-dawn wall of water surprised sleeping campers at the Albert Pike Recreation Area, leaving them frantically trying to scramble up the steep terrain in the dark.

As the swollen rivers subsided and the hours ticked by Saturday, anguished relatives waiting for word of loved ones grew more and more frustrated, lashing out at reporters, knowing that at some point the search mission would become one of recovery.

A real caring concerned President would have made an immediate public announcement to show some form of compassion.

But not this one, it must be an Islamic thing, you see it in the eyes, the soul has been stolen away.

Nashville and the relief efforts are getting good coverage. It’s a lazy ass lesson for the idiots in Orleans. (A lesson not picked up well I’m sure)

At times he has the look like the pictures of a terrorist just before they either blew themselves up or flew into a pair of skyscrapers.

The dead eyes of beliefs that have an unknown horror awaiting those that follow its path..

Do you really want him to notice the people of Nashville and WEST Tn? I don’t. Even everyone east of Brownsville doesn’t acknowledge that parts of Millington was just about destroyed in that storm, including a U.S. Navy base.

The fact that BO hasn’t said a word is amazing. It seems unlikely the missing will be found alive so we’re looking at 40 deaths from this incident.

The lack of leadership is heartbreaking.

Are you kidding? Bredesen loves Obama and would kiss his feet if he came here. Its the people who don’t want him here.

Nashville got no coverage. Arkansas has fared a little better with coverage. Maybe its the Clinton factor.

As a resident of Millington, I have to point out that property damage is one thing, but these folks in Arkansas have lost their lives and in some cases, many of their family members.

My thoughts are with the families there who have lost something that cannot be replaced or are in fear that they have lost their loved ones. :(

“Over 20 dead in the tennessee floods and still not so much as a peep out of Bambi...”

I found this-

The White House

Office of the Press Secretary
For Immediate Release
June 11, 2010
Statement by the President on Arkansas Flash Flooding

Michelle and I would like to extend heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives during this horrible flash flood, and we offer our prayers for those who anxiously await news of loved ones still missing. State and local first responders continue their critical life saving efforts on the ground. I have instructed FEMA to be in close contact with Arkansas Emergency Management officials and to report back concerning any unmet needs; and I will ensure that FEMA continues to coordinate with our state and local partners throughout this tragedy. When natural disasters strike, our first responders are on the frontlines providing emergency assistance and keeping our communities safe. Many of them are showing true bravery today and for that I thank them.

Did anyone NOT on the whitehouse website actually hear of that? No, because he’s too busy golfing.

He didn’t get Nissan HQ and Volkswagen because of government intrusion. It cost Rutherford County 700,000 a year on the Volkswagen deal. It is smaller Gov’t. Put an (R) by his name and the dimwits vote him out.
