Pence: 'Everybody in America knew whose a-double-s to kick'
Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) on Sunday blasted President Barack Obamas slow response to the BP oil disaster, saying the administration had poorly coordinated its initial response.
He couldve picked up the phone and called the CEO of BP sooner than 50 days [after the spill], Pence said on CNNs State of the Union. This is emblematic of the kind of detached leadership were seeing in this administration I think by day two, everybody in America knew whose a-double-s to kick.
Obama administration officials did not appear in the region until nearly 10 days after the oil rig explosion occurred off Louisianas coast, Pence complained.
Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) acknowledged the involvement of more than a dozen government agencies in the oil spill is a process that can get clumsy sometimes. But he defended the administrations overall response, saying it was working to streamline the efforts and expressing anger at BP.
I dont know that the president is doing anything wrong, Clyburn said. The Presidents style is something a lot of people felt very comfortable with during the campaign they were looking for a steady hand
But when the time came for governing, people like to see a little more emotional involvement on the part of their leader.
Democrat a$$hole admits “...process that ‘can get clumsy sometimes’” and he wants us to trust them with our HEALTH? We are in such deep doo-doo.
Smoke, mirrors and the media.
People allowed themselves to be duped. Taken. Had. Swindled.
Is Pence growing a set?
Pence has always had a pretty big set...I think they just KEEP growing bigger and bigger. God Bless him! MORE, MORE!!!
I like Pence. I hope he just keeps on taking swings at those idiots.
He’s always been tough. He is a good man and looks like a strong leader. Keep going Pence. Everyone else speaks their mind...you should too and am glad you are.
Obama's not doing anything wrong because he's not doing anything AT ALL. And that IS wrong.
He's not leading, he's not handling, he's not managing, heck -- he's not even ORGANIZING!
Libtards can’t actually do anything - they can only talk and demagogue. They are pathetically inept.
Dates in Question

19 April 1993 - Waco: After a 51-day cordon of the Branch Davidian building in Texas, federal agents raid the compound as a fire breaks out. I also want to add:
The huge oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico started on Tuesday, April 20, 2010.
In 1972, the manned lunar module from Apollo 16 landed on the moon
In 1978, a Korean Air Lines Boeing 707 crash-landed in northwestern Russia after entering Soviet airspace and being fired on by a Soviet interceptor. Two passengers were killed.
In 2001, A Peruvian air force jet shot down a small plane carrying American missionaries in Perus Amazon jungle region, killing Veronica Bowers and her infant daughter, Charity.
Just sayin’ Hitler’s Birthday was April 20th....
Don’t forget April 15th, the day American taxpayers get raped annually!
Oh h-e-double-hockey-sticks yeah!
Yep, that too. Interesting stuff with the dates.
Barry was a sissy to start with and he isn’t ever going to make that change to a man with testosterone with big balls.
He is just a school boy wanting to play sports but always had sand kicked in his face and never thought to order the Atlas program for being a man.
Bottom line, he is an ineffectual intellectual wannabe and has zero ideas.
A 5 year old would kick his ass at Chinese checkers and make him look utterly stupid at tic, tac, toe.
Has anyone ever thought that President Narcissus may have WANTED the spill to get worse and worse because he hates oil as an energy source?
Yeah, by letting barriers languish in a Maine warehouse, preventing ships that could skim the oil not participate because they are not union, by funneling the terrorists in Gaza 400 million more dollars instead of spending that money to protect the environment.
And the hell does focusing anger at BP protect our states from damage?
0bama and his administration are as STUPID as the voters that elected him.
...process that can get clumsy sometimes and he wants us to trust them with our HEALTH?”
I think this is a great campaign theme. The same federal government that has “managed” border security and the Gulf oil spill.....is the same government wants to control our healthcars.
Pence has always had a set. He just picks his battles well...and knows when to stick the knife in.
Speaker Pence, people. Boehner’s not as bad as some here on FR say (IMHO) but the idea of Speaker Boehner is 100 miles of bad road.
That was his pinnacle. It was all down hill from there.
I sincerely agree with you on ALL counts.
Prayers for the people involved in this.
They waited till the response would not be effective on purpose.
Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) on Sunday blasted President Barack Obama's "slow" response to the BP oil disaster
It's not about BP's costly leak.
It's about Obama's stingy cleanup.
