But when there's a party establishment candidate in the running, or one who had some ties with the McCain-Palin 2008 ticket, "she'll go with that," Blakely said.

She’s batting about 800, I’ll take that.

I think she know how to win.

Mere winning is pointless (and even counterproductive) if you’re winning for McCain and his merry band of RINOs.

She'd be a footnote if not for McCain.
Palin knows that. Which makes her smarter than her critics

Is it better for a political party to be pragmatic & achieve power — or to remain an ideologically pure movement & criticize from the sidelines?

Political expediency...

Any way you spell it, it still comes out RINO.

So California and Arizona weren’t the only two states after all. Who could have guessed that after McCain and this.

When she reaches across the aisle with McPOS, it’s a disaster. Conservatives never win with RINOs. It’s loser-ville.

How sexist.

Leave it to you to carry the liberal media's water.
You think the AP cares about the Tea Party? They are trying to split the conservatives from Palin.
Branstad is not a RINO. He served 16 years before as Iowa's Governor and did a great job. The Tea Party candidate who was endorsed by Huckabee lost the race twice before.
She just endorsed Korster & Didier in WA state who are solid conservatives.
But if you feel that her endorsement of McCain (nevermind that many of Palin supporters understand the endorsement and will still support JD) makes her a RINO then I can't change your mind.

So, an AP piece claims that somme conservatives are not happy with Sarah Palin. Does the AP ever report anything flattering to any conservative? No.

There is not a single conservative politician or figure able to satisfy all of the conservatives. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems totally counter productive to be constantly bashing Sarah Palin when this administration is a total disaster. Waste of energy.

She was SECOND choice behind Lieberman. How telling.

Unless and until Sarah can be cloned - there will never be other candidates who are in lock step with all of her positions.

Being a pragmatist shows humility and grace; essential qualities in leadership. Idealogue is just another word for tyrant!

Get real Blakely - or get elected!

They are trying to split the conservatives from Palin.

Palin already split herself off by endorsing McCain and Fiorina.

St. Sarah of Wasilla is at her core a politician. She will back the horse that is ahead as needed

In the case if McCain, I’ll agree. I would rather she supported JD out at least just stayed out.

You’re correct...she should have stayed out, at minimum!

“Obama pals around with terrorists” Palin.

She still has my support no matter how much you jump up and down and scream RINO...
