Can't we trade these “parents” to the Taliban for something useful, like a couple of camels?

Maybe the Sunderlands can team up with the family who claimed their young sun was in the runaway balloon over Colorado.

Maybe it REALLY was? Maybe we were set up and they never intended for her to complete the voyage? Maybe it ended the way they planned?

Makes World Cup soccer sound exciting by comparison.

Forgot to mention another shocker - the girl is writing a book. And the family wants donations to get the boat back.

Oh I have no doubt she was trying to make it....but this wasnt simply a girl looking to make her own mark in the world...it’s a whole family seeking fame and fortune...I guess they thought it was worth the *cough* “risk”

Libtards.

Thanks for the thread..first time I heard of it. I’m not surprised though!

Article regarding brother Zac from last July..

“I don’t know if he’s set to be on the Wheaties box yet,” his mother, Marianne Sunderland, said Friday in acknowledging that the family has an agent looking to sign her son to commercials and endorsements.”

Betcha it's not reported there are many teens who have asked their parents if they could sail around the world solo...And their loving parents said "no"..

And I'm tired of hearing our teenagers put down because they aren't out there doing something 'life threatening'...good grief.
