Kids are too fat, too uneducated, felons, or all three. Another Democrat City success story.

And yet they will have no problems find positions in city government.

Isn’t Philly the place where the dems get 110% of the vote?

75% nationwide.

We could raise the number allowable a bit if we went back to GWB’s policy of letting felons in.

The group wants state and federal funding for pre-kindergarten programs that it says give children a solid foundation for academic and personal success.

Never saw this hook coming did ya? Just what we need, another big boatload of statists trolling the waters for the treasured TaxaChump GreenBack.

It’s The Navy Times. The AP article quotes a group called “Mission: Readiness” which is made up of retired generals. The results are easily checked at the source.

How long before they blame Bush?

I wonder how many thousands Philly pays for each student?

Funny. Doesn't Obama have 450,000 youngsters out in the countryside undergoing civilian military training?
One day you will see these bronzed gods come marching back home singing, “my heart belongs to Obama.”
Boy do the lyrics flow, “Good by Mama I'm off to serve Obama.”

They can have them.

I was at a campout this weekend with a boys organization; The Royal Rangers. I noticed a huge difference between our boys locally, and the boys from the other large city that joined us. The boys from the larger city were: Fat (mostly), whiners, didn’t know how to do basic tasks, displaying ADD-like behavior.
1 kid we have in our group recently moved from Denver. 14 and had never camped, tied a knot, pitched a tent, cooked a hot-dog over a fire, shot a rifle. He is also a bit overweight. He’s learning, but man, if this is the future, we are in for a world of hurt.

If you read the entire article, it states that 75% of all youngsters across the country are not elegible for the service. Just what I needed this week..........bad information. Says a lot for our education system. I don’t think it has anything to do with pre-kindergarten education. It has to do with our teachers in all schools. This country did just fine in the past with our youth. Today they can’t even read or write.
