I hope the Judge hands the city it’s collectivist head!

The sad news is that we never hear about the Girl Scouts dealing such conflicts as they have already been corrupted by the leftists...

I think I heard on KYW on Tuesday that the jury had been selected for this trial. 6 women and 2 men IIRC.

And hell hath no fury like a New York Times editor spurned. The Times denounced the Supreme Court decision merely permitting the Boy Scouts to refuse gay scoutmasters as one of the court's "lowest moments." The Times "ethicist" advised readers that pulling their sons out of the Boy Scouts was "the ethical thing to do.

The National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA) boasted a few years ago that although homosexuals are less than two percent of the population, three-fourths of the people who decide the content of the front page of the New York Times are homosexual.

The NYT biased? Naw.

Teh Pack that I just “retired” from as a leader had fantastic growth this year. I think they gained about 15 new scouts, all from new family, no younger brothers.

Off topic-My two sons both had scouting milestones this week. My youngest earned Tenderfoot and the older one earned Life. I’ve also been very absentee, not by choice. I’m living 500 miles away due to a new job, so I wasn’t around to help as much as I wanted to.

The family is moving next week so the boys earned rank at their last ever meeting with their troop. I’m looking into starting a new home school troop in Maryland.

We had one in this part of the state at near about that same time. At least a couple of young men are dead because of him. The filthy pervert messed up a whole bunch of boys here, late ‘60s and early ‘70s. One died of AIDS, one commited suicide. At least one other one turned queer.

What next? Boys in the girl scouts and girls in the boy scouts?

Well, the women should be protective of the boys.

That's what I thought when I heard it.

And I better as well for laughing at that, it was classic!

Well, I have my flame suit on for this one, but women tend to be a bit more accommodating to homo’s don’t they?

This could portend a bad outcome for the BSA if true.

Have they claimed the term, “The City of Brotherly Love,” is the charter for the city?

Women tend to be very protective of their sons. Mama bear syndrome. Any good lawyer just needs to get it across that they are protecting the boys from harm and the women should fall in line.

And I don't know that women are more "accommodating".

I tend to agree that mothers should have the “mama bear syndrome”, but we don’t know that any of the women on this jury are mothers or if they are, good mothers.

I’m just saying, and I should have been a bit more clear, if these are more “liberal” type women, my experience has been that they don’t really see a problem with homos and may see the homos as the victim here as opposed to protecting the boys.

Morally conservative groups and institutions are increasingly banned, including businesses. "Overturn the ban on morally conservative institutions!" should be a rallying cry.

But of course, the GOP won't do that. Remember, fiscal issues are what the 2010 elections are about! Pay no attention to the destruction of your culture! Silence equals success!

“Especially as that practice almost brought down the Catholic church!”

It damaged the Church’s reputation, impaired its ability to do good, and sent (is sending) many souls to Hell, but nothing can “bring down” the Catholic Church.

In my experience in churches and on FR, many if not most women fall into the “I know a gay fella and he’s real nice, so he should be able to get married if he wants” category. They have no idea what that nice gay fella does down at the bath house lashed to the spanking table.

I just heard that the verdict came in FOR the boy scouts against the city. The boy scouts are talking about another suit to get the city to pay their 800k legal bills.
