Global Livestock Climate Change CRSP DRAFT

This Concept Paper describes a proposed Livestock-Climate Change (LCC) Collaborative Research Support Program (CRSP) that will research the impacts of climate change on livestock production systems and target its direct and indirect challenges to livestock, human and environmental health. Livestock, humans, and the environment form three synergistic, interactive and integrated sectors on a pyramidal base and overarching climate change impacts the three conjoined sector nodes. The association of humans and animals often creates conditions that affect the health of both and changes their environment. The term “health” includes resources, disease, and nutrition.

Injured Wildlife Research and Rescue, San Diego Navy Lands, San Diego CA

The purpose of this Cooperative Agreement (Agreement) is to research and identify causes of injury for wildlife at San Diego area installations, while simultaneously providing rescue and transportation of injured, ill and orphaned wildlife, excluding marine mammals, in compliance with applicable State and Federal Laws. This work will be performed at San Diego Bay Metro Naval Bases (Naval Base Coronado (NBC), Naval Base San Diego (NBSD), and Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL)).

I was visiting a government website on a fact-finding mission, and noticed several buttons on the right side of the screen linking to various government agencies and programs. I clicked on the grant profiles have just started laughing (and crying on the inside). It's mind boggling how these politicians and bureaucrats find ways to spend OPM.

By the way, I will never post a picture of Helen Thomas. Never. Not ever. Period.I have posted the pictures, but usually something easy on the eyes when it comes to women.
